host response was very good, we were a family group traveling to attend a funeral the house worked very well for us having a bedroom with bathroom for each couple.
Towel rack was torn off the wall in bedroom #1. Heating was hard to control between bedrooms. Neighbors dog was loudly barking and many feral cats in neighborhood.
We are 4 Senior age couples from different states who meet once a year as a reunion. There was NO comfortable area to socialize â A tired 3 cushion sofa sleeper and one arm chair; 4 backless, armless bar stools. Only the 3 seated on the sofa and whoever could stand the barstools moved to a doorway could see the awkwardly placed tv. There was a rule against repositioning any of the furniture, but we moved two patio chairs inside for more comfortable seating. In the kitchen, there was 1(one) kitchen towel. There was no porch light or outdoor lighting to guide to front door.We opted to not use the hot tub because we didnât want to pack extra towels. We had a good time, just being together, but a better attention to amenities would have made it great. The bedrooms & baths were very clean. The carpeted stairs & rug needed shampooing.
The house is newly updated, was spotless, and in great condition. Itâs not in the nicest neighborhood however, just so you know. Next door were some big and mean dogs that go crazy everytime you go in and out of the property. But for what the owners can control on this, they did a great job
The house was great, everything we expected, super clean, comfortable and the property manager was easy to communicate with. The neighbor hood however is less then desirable, there is a huge dog next door that seems extremely aggressive that could easily get out of its yard and I wouldnât have been surprised if our vehicles got broken into.
Great that 5 bedrooms each have a bathroom. We came to town from Philadelphia pa and fort Myers Fl for a wedding. Has enough space to relax and wind down together
The house was beautiful and spacious, plenty of room for all of our stuff. We loved that it had 5 separate bedrooms with their own bathrooms. We did book the property solely for the hot tub, but later found out the hot tub was a pricey paid amenity, which was something we had never experienced before with a VRBO. We also felt like wherever that information was in the listing, it is easily missed and needs to be moved to the very very top. The house was also extremely bare - barely anything for cooking (we found 1 oven mitt torn up in the backyard), no cleaning supplies, no dishwasher soap, no laundry soap, and no extra blankets, towels, or rags. Finally, there was a cat constantly crying in the neighbor's yard, to the point we almost called animal control, and the neighbors have their dog on a very heavy chain that we could constantly hear rattling when it walked around.
