Olney, situated on the River Great Ouse, is one of the most sought-after destinations in north Buckinghamshire. It is within easy driving distance of Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire, offering beautiful rolling countryside and many country and town attractions. Olney itself boasts tea rooms, pubs, restaurants, antique shops, boutiques, and the William Cowper Museum. Emberton Country Park, located just before you reach Olney, features over 200 acres of unspoiled mature parkland with more than 3 miles of paths and trails winding around five lakes, through wooded glades and meadows, with many spots for picnics, a barbecue area, and a café.
