Nice clean older property

The condo was an older property with older furnishings and some wear and tear. But that aside it is clean and maintained and the view is great. Big and spacious with a bathroom for each bedroom. A drawback was that you have to drive 10 miles away to pick up the info pack to get in the condo. I didn't expect that and overlooked it in the instructions. I wish they had the packet on site which really is just wristbands and a parking pass because the dorrs are all operated with a code...

Amazing place

Amazing place. I loved the fact everyone had their own bathroom. Nice corner condo with great views. Elevators were fast and property provided carts for caring things up and down during check-in and check-out.

Very good stay - having to return only a used parking pass (we had no keys - used door code) seemed very unnecessary - we had to drive out of our way just for that. Could use some up grading, but our stay was very enjoyable

Happy with everything

Condo was exactly as reported. Very nice. You do need to furnish a blow dryer however. But, thanks it was great even though we had to cut our stay short by a night in order to get home before the snow apocalypse!!

Beautiful comfortable clean condo

This condo is comfortable and has wonderfully stocked kitchen. We had plenty of room with my daughter, husband and 2 toddlers. We also survived Hurricane Sally in this condo! The owner and Poole were very gracious in their handling of our stay during the storm. We appreciate and will definitely stay in this condo in the future. Regency Isle is my favorite property in the OBA area. The check in process in Gulf Shores was very easy since we were traveling from Tennessee.

Checking in was horrible. We had to go to Gulf Shores just to get a key CODE. Parking was terrible!

We had to stop in Gulf Shores just to pick up a key CODE that could have easily been emailed to us. Parking at the condo is beyond ridiculous. They didn’t bother telling us there were numbered parking spots and our condo only had ONE spot numbered but they sold us TWO parking passes! My mother in law received a warning on her vehicle even though she had a valid PURCHASED parking pass! There are non numbered spaces on the bottom floor that the security guard told her to park in BUT none of this was told to us when we checked in. We will NOT be staying here again unless they add more parking spaces!

Great for a girls getaway

This property was perfect for our group of 6 girlfriends. It is plenty big and the extra 1/2 bath was perfect as we were all able to get ready in a timely manner!! The master bed was very comfortable and the dark out curtains were appreciated. My main suggestion would be for them to add dark out curtains to the other two bedrooms as the sun blared in those rooms by 7:00 each morning which is not good when on vacation!! I also would suggest that the property owners would provide more than 1 parking pass, especially in the low season. Our complex was not even 1/3 full last week, which we loved...but there were plenty of parking spots available on each floor. We were only provided 1 parking pass and had to purchase 3 more Which wasn’t cheap. That just seems like a nice amenity that could have been provided to us. My only real complaint is with the check in process. The property management company for this condo, unbeknownst to us, is in Gulf Shores, which is a good 25-30 minutes from the condo. They require you to visit their office in Gulf Shores to pick up the keys which is a huge hassle. We had already driven 6 hours to get to the beach, and the office is in the opposite direction that we were going. I had a friend pick up the keys since she agreed to make the trip across town, but it is a huge inconvenience. They should update the locks to be a key-pad, provide the keyless entry code to the renters the day before. Keys are very outdated and though they should have been mailed to me in advance, this all could have been avoided if they would update their process and make it easier on the renters. I can honestly say that the condo was great and the location perfect. The only beef I had with the whole trip was the check in AND the check out process. We had to again drive 30 minutes to gulf shores to return these keys at check out time when they should have been allowed to say on the counter at check out---which is what 99% of the properties do in OBA. I have never had to worry about this detail during my vacation before now.

As advertised, enjoyable stay, key pick-up / drop-off is minor nuisance

It's as advertised, right on the beach, nice corner unit, great views, clean, comfortable, etc. The master bedroom (beach side) is quiet. The other bedrooms are on the street side, they have a view of river but you can hear street traffic. Thankfully a friend who was staying in the area took the key back to the property management company for me, otherwise would have increased my trip home by almost an hour. Communication leading up to the stay was efficient. Although I was told the unit did not have any beach chairs, turned out it did - which I found out after I bought my own at the Walmart down the street. No big deal.

First time visit to Orange Beach

Our family decided to try Orange Beach versus Florida beaches this year. We were not disappointed. We really enjoyed the area and our stay in this condo. Checkin was very easy. Our room was as expected according to the pictures. The three bedroom/bath accommodations were perfect for our family of five. Having a corner unit was awesome for the views from the balcony. The balcony was so large and relaxing. The pool was so refreshing. The grilling area outside was a plus and we saw several families taking advantage of that opportunity all week. As far as the unit being clean, it looked like it was clean until you looked closely. I know the cleaning crew is very busy, but it was not as clean as I would have hoped. Our silverware was dirty. I just rewatched it and it was fine but opening the drawer and finding dirty dishes and silverware was not enjoyable. Also our fridge and freezer had a horrible smell of seafood. I called and reported it and the rental company did send someone the next day to check on it. They put a couple of boxes of baking soda in it and that helped somewhat but it never completely went away but we got used to it and didn’t let it ruin our stay. A couple of suggestions would be to update the living room furniture and pillows. There wasn’t very much room for us to all sit together. I would eliminate the large table and chairs in the kitchen and maybe put a sectional there with two chairs so that there is more seating room. Other than that, #501 Regency Isle was perfect for our family and we would certainly stay there again! I hope everyone will enjoy their stay as much as we did!
