This luxury home sleeps 12 and offers 4 spacious bedrooms, 4.5 baths, in a family-friendly community location situated in the heart of Orange Beach. Inside Salty Mermaid, the open concept on the main floor with contemporary coastal decor and designer furnishings invites you in. The family can gather in complete comfort on the plush sectional or cushioned chairs in the living room to watch their favorite shows on the wall-mounted smart HDTV. The dining area offers a rustic farm-style table with bench seating that can accommodate up to 10 comfortably. The fully stocked chef’s kitchen features top-of-the-line stainless appliances, marble countertops, and a large island with additional seating for 4. Guests will love the convenience of the full-size laundry room and half bathroom also on the main level.

The 1st-floor master bedroom suite includes a plush king bed, a large wall-mounted TV, and a luxurious ensuite bathroom featuring an expansive walk-in shower, double sinks, and a large tub. The other 3 bedrooms and bathrooms are located upstairs. Bedroom #2 includes a king bed, TV, and a private bathroom. Bedroom #3 includes a queen bed, TV, and private bathroom. The 4th bedroom or “bunk room” hosts 1 twin bunk and 1 XL full on top and bottom bunk plus a TV and bathroom, perfect for the kiddos!

Getting cousins together

We had families from Georgia and families from Texas wanting to get together. Orange Beach was a great compromise and it didn’t disappoint. The home is spacious and the kitchen equipped with everything you could ask for. The community pool and beach are both within walking distance. Our only concern was that the bed in the master bedroom downstairs is quite high making it a little difficult for seniors to manage. The barbecue pit and fire pit were put to good use. We will definitely choose the home again if /when in the area

We stayed in lovely home for a baseball tournament's with another family. Great house, fit all our needs. Fully stocked home. Easy communication with property management. Great location to walking trails. Community pool is a bit small.

The property was very nice. The master bed is extremely high, I would suggest getting a small stool. Kitchen stocked well, grill is gas cooks quickly. 5 min walk to beach , very nice bike trails behind property. Pool was refreshing and the neighborhood was peaceful.

Family Vacation

This was a great stay. The house was in great condition, practically new ! We rented With family and our dog. House did not have any pet odors but does have limited grass for them to go outside. Would definitely rent again. Also, we knew the house was not listed as being any kind of handicap accessible but our family member who could not walk stairs stood in the downstairs bedroom. Bedroom downstairs had a very high bed and was not easy to get in, just wanted others to be aware. This was a great stay over all , would recommend!!!!

Beautiful home

This gorgeous house near the beach was great for our group of 7-10 (depended on the night). The beds were comfortable which the young sailors recently out of boot camp we hosted greatly appreciated. Lots of dishes and cookware, towels and bedding. The only 2 negatives were dirty cooking utensils and oven mitts and the shower curtain in the front bath is too short and caused a mess on the floor. Besides that I highly recommend this rental.

Family Fun

It was a wonderful family beach vacation. I am glad that I selected the Salty Mermaid property, as it was very spacious and clean…it felt like a home away from home. The neighborhood is beautiful and quaint and everyone was very friendly. If you are looking for somewhere to stay that is close enough to the beach and very private, this may be the property for you. The kids enjoyed swimming at the clubhouse and the pool is not very deep, so we were comfortable with my 3 year old nephew being in the pool.

Beautiful House Close to the Beach

Nice neighborhood. Spacious and clean rooms. Well appointed kitchen. Clean pool a few houses away. Close to everything! Bring your bikes to ride the miles of trails. The house backs up to the Gulf State Park. Easy walk to the beach. Nice bin of beach chairs, umbrellas, etc… Great house! Great time!

Beautiful community and home

Such a beautiful home in a very cute beach community. There was my husband, myself and three college students. The home was very clean and spacious we all had our own room and bathroom. It’s a short walk to the beach which was clean. We also used the pool in the evenings which was very convenient. The property manager was easy to reach, checked on us and responded quickly when we had a question. The community was quiet and peaceful. We were very pleased.

Another great stay in Orange Beach!

The extended family wanted a large, modern, convenient living space for this year's summer vacation. The Salty Mermaid was all of those things and more. The home was very clean and comfortable for our group of 7. The property management is excellent with lots of updates/reminders of check in/out procedures, tips, etc. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Orange Beach.

Great place to stay!

We had 2 families (4 adults, 7 kids). There was a lot of room the spread out and relax. Loved being able to easily walk to the beach!! The beds were comfortable, although the sheets were a little stiff.

Great house

My husband and two kids stayed at the salty mermaid and had a wonderful stay. The house is gorgeous pictures don’t do justice. The beds are so comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet despite many rentals there. Quick walk to beach but we also rented golf cart which was really fun. We had issue arise with key pad malfunction—-no fault of the management but it was resolved very quickly and multiple people checked in with us after this to ensure we had no further issues. Easy check in and even easier check out. Some checkouts have lengthy list this property does not. We will definitely be back! I should also add we added two extra days before trip as they were open and this was such an easy process.

Amazing Spring Break 2023

This house was perfect! Great location, close to the beach, with dedicated beach access, and right by some amazing trails! I walked the trails everyday, we cooked almost every evening, the kitchen had all the needed pots and pans. We will definitely rent this home again!!
