Weâve been coming to Orange Beach for years and this was one of our more frustrating stays.At first glance, the condo looks nice, but once inside, itâs clear itâs been done very cheaply. Cabinets, appliances, and bedding were all below expectations for the price. There were also maintenance issues, TVs had color problems, door screens werenât installed properly⊠just a general lack of attention to detail.The biggest issue was the dryer going out on day 4. It took three days to get a replacement, and when they did, the new one wasnât working properly. We left the next day, which was disappointing given the cost. They offered laundry service our last day.The experience with the property management company (Sands of Alabama) didnât help. Leading up to the trip, they repeatedly tried to upsell us on extending our stay, but when we asked multiple times about early check-in, we kept getting âweâll let you know.âOn check-in day, we called at 1pm then 2pm and never got a callback. After 45 minutes of follow-up, we were allowed in at 3pm⊠and were charged for early check-in, even though the unit had been vacant.Overall, this didnât feel like a place thatâs cared for or managed with the guest in mind. Weâd recommend looking elsewhere.
