Nice place if you only eat out
The place itself has been nicely remodeled and updated. And the owner has been great to work with in the past.
Prior to booking, I asked the owner if there was a pack n play for my toddler and let them know we plan to bring our family of 6 and we wanted to do a lot of cooking. I asked how well stocked the kitchen was and they assured me that it was well stocked.
When we arrived, most of the dishes were put away with grease and food on them. There was no pack n play, and the kitchen was barely equipped for eating only ready-made things. I asked for more plates and bowls as there were only 4 of each item and the place is advertised to sleep 6. We also asked about the pack n play because we couldn’t find it. The owner sent someone with the pack n play and it was very dirty, so we used a bathroom rag to clean it (since there are no cleaning supplies). The owner also kindly sent a pack of paper plates and a baking dish.
After our first meal that night, I asked for several more items that I was surprised not to find: a sponge and rag to clean dishes and counters. The next morning, we went through our meal plan for the week and asked for several kitchen items for cooking: wire whisk, potato masher, plastic bowls (again since there were only 4).
The owner refused to send anything else, stating that our “list seems to never end.”
So just beware if you plan to do any cooking. This place is great if you mainly eat out.
