Newly Renovated 1 Bedroom Condo With Amazing Seaview! Beachfront Pool!

Our condo “The Sea Palm” is located on Orient Bay Beach, French side, Saint Martin- regularly voted among the top beaches in the Caribbean – offering a 2 mile long white sand beach and year-round warm turquoise waters. The condo is located in the Mont Vernon residence on the quiet North end of Orient Bay with direct beach access. Both the pool and beach are at your feet, less than 1 min. From the condo. A 10-15 min stroll down the beach will take you to numerous restaurants, boutiques and water sports.

“The Sea Palm” is located on the second floor in the “Saba” building of Mt Vernon- which is front row, with unobstructed magnificent views of Orient Beach, neighboring islands and mountains. The spacious 86 sq ft balcony is the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast, cocktails, and romantic dinners. The balcony sliding glass door opens all the way up and hides behind a sidewall pocket- creating a gorgeous indoor/outdoor space. “The Sea Palm” has been completely renovated (October 2023) and refurnished in a tranquil contemporary style. It has a unique layout with a separate bedroom. The bedroom has a European queen size all new bed with mattress topper, closets on both walls, and storage for suitcases. Convenient en-suite bathroom, which can also be accessed from the living room. The living room has a sleeper sofa for 1 or 2 additional guests. Fully equipped kitchen cooktop, oven, microwave etc- you can cook meals while enjoying the breathtaking view and listening to the ocean. Smart TV and reliable fast WiFi (fiber-optic). There is a washer in the condo as well. Sheets, towels and beach towels included.

The Mont Vernon residence has 24/7 security and underwent a complete renovation the past couple of years, including a brand new waterfront pool (and wading pool!) with complimentary lounge chairs. The residence also has beautiful tropical landscaping and walkways, a tiny grocery store, a pizzeria (with excellent pizza!) and 2 parking lots. A 10-15 min stroll down the beach will take you to numerous restaurants, boutiques and water sports. Close to several supermarkets, Orient Bay Village with restaurants and shops, Grand Case- the French gourmet capital of the Caribbean with a lot of restaurants from fine dining to feet in the sand dining, and close to boat that will take you to Pinel Island (which you can by the way paddle board or kayak to instead if you want!). Whether you are looking to just chill at the beach/pool, or like kite surfing, paddle boarding, snorkeling, diving, hiking, zip lining, or french/creole cuisine- this is the perfect place. Wonderful stay

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights in mid April. The condo is exactly as pictured, very clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the proximity to the pool and beach, and it is close to a lot of great restaurants. There is a little market and a small pizza restaurant located in the condo development which was very convenient. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes/pots/pans and we used it to make breakfast and coffee each morning. I would recommend staying in this condo 100%!

This unit is the same size as the other units at Mont Vernon but the space has been reconfigured to give the bedroom privacy. The kitchen is small but is well appointed and met our needs as we only cooked our breakfast each morning. Decorated in turquoise blu and grey lends to a calm feeling.

Loved Our Stay at Orient Bay/Mt. Vernon

We loved our stay at Marc's and Line's Condo at Mont Vernon/Orient Bay, St. Martin. We celebrated our 30th anniversary here and found it a perfect mix of peaceful and quiet relaxation, combined with options for adventures on the beach or nearby in Grand Case or at Pinel Island (not to mention horseback riding on the beach at Le Ranch Du Galion). We found the condo to accurately match the description and loved the view and location with direct access to the beautiful extended long beach at Orient Bay, as well as the great pool overlooking the beach. Marc and Line (owners) as well as their local managers Bode and Linda were so easy to communicate with and were extremely helpful and responsive. St. Martin is truly the "Friendly Island" - we couldn't have had a better experience!

A great place to stay for a holiday

We had a fantastic time. This was our first VRBO and it was great. We were totally satisfied. The apartment was clean and well supplied, the manager, Linda I think, was timely and friendly and a pleasure to meet. The area was clean and comfortable. Everything worked just fine. The pool and beach area/access was a dream; not crowded, clean, and easily accessible. Very close to Orient Beach, within a few min drive and you could walk there in about 15 min on the beach. Plenty of shopping, food and groceries right down the street. 25 min to Phillipsburg for more shopping. All in all, I hope its available the next time we come because we will definitely use again.

Cute condo by Orient beach St. Martin French side

Easy to get anything rectified with owners and manager. Convenient with the beach right there. You will need a car to get to restaurants and sightseeing. Enjoyed the patio. Had issues with ants and manager sprayed 2 days later. Still saw ants so it needs to be fumigated when someone is not there. Pool was great also on the property.

Beautiful Sea View 1-BR Apt on Orient Bay

The apartment was exactly as pictured. It was very nicely furnished and had good kitchen amenities. It was very clean. It was very convenient to all the beach clubs, restaurants and bars on Orient Bay. We did not rent a car for the first time in Saint Martin and it's our 6th trip. We felt we could just stay in Orient and walk and we were right. The little market on the property at Mont Vernon has a very nice selection of anything you might need - coffee, cheese, bread, sunscreen. Very convenient. One word of advice: Be sure to get a taxi fare BEFORE you get into a car as while there are norms and it should cost the same to get back to the airport as it did to get to your destination, there are people who do not abide by this convention. You will be very happy with this apartment.

What a great condo! The separate bedroom is really nice to have. The kitchen has everything we needed to prepare meals. The furniture and bed are comfortable. The view from the deck is awesome. The owners were extraordinarily responsive to email, and the couple that checked us in took great care of us. We have stayed in four other units in this complex and we will definitely chose SeaPalm again.

We had a fantastic stay

This was our 4th time visiting the island and the second time staying at Mont Vernon. We always look for a more local, quiet spot to stay and this is truly it. Line and Marc, as well as their property managers, were wonderful hosts making sure we had everything we needed, even providing a pack and play for our 1 year old. The unit itself is beautifully renovated, had a perfectly stocked kitchen, and a separate bedroom (which many of the other rental in this complex do not have). The views from the unit are beautiful. It’s a short walk down to the newly finished pool. The market and pizzeria were so wonderful to have. Especially having a baby who goes to bed early. We were able to order from there several nights and enjoy dinner on the terrace. When our flight was delayed going home, Line and Marc were so generous to accommodate us for an extra night. We were very pleased with everything and would highly recommend for future visits. Thank you for hosting our family!

Perfect Resort Location!

There is a wide range of nearby restaurants that are just a short drive (< 5 mins) or a beach walk (15-20 mins). We made this this walk easily 1-2x per day. Pinel Island is a must-see. Plan ahead by reserving chairs, so you have a place to call home when you arrive. The short ferry was quick and simple, but I would have also considered renting a kayak if it were available. (also need to book ahead). We would definitely stay here again!

An apartment in paradise with easy access to restaurants and beaches

We really enjoyed our stay at the SeaPalm SXM and can highly recommend a vacation here. From the balcony the view is perfect, overlooking the garden, poolarea and finally the ocean. The apartment is located very close to the beach where you will find all kind of watersport activities and beach restaurants. By the pool there are plenty of sunbeds and we never experienced any problems with the availability. There is a pizzaria at Mont Vernon, where they make very good pizzas. Next to the pizzaria, there is a small grocery store, where they sell baguettes and the most needful things. In driving distance you will find Grand Case with a lot of fantastic restaurants, some of them in surroundings where you have your feet-in-the-sand while dining. We used the guide from Line & Marc, which is in the apartment. The guide is very useful to inspiration for things to do and some very great nearby restaurants. Dont miss the opportunity to visit Calmos Cafe in Grand Case and of course Pinel Island! We rented a car all days at St. Maarten, this is also highly recommendable, so you can access all 37 beaches and the nearby restaurants whenever you want - you will not regret this!

The unit was fully stocked with everything you would need. The view was beautiful. All our questions were answered very quickly. Very nice accommodations. As we are "seniors" the many stairways were a little difficult to maneuver. Definitely not ADA accessible.

Vacances au Paradis!!!!

le studio Ă©tait tout Ă  fait parfait, de par sa situation, Ă  pied d'une des plus belle plage de St-Martin avec plusieurs petits clubs de plage avec transats et excellent repas, le bikini beach club Ă©tait notre favori... Nous avons profitĂ© aussi de la piscine du complexe qui est trĂšs propre et entretenue chaque matin. Le studio Ă©tait trĂšs propre et La terrasse merveilleuse pour nos petits dĂ©jeuners et nos dĂźners du soir. Dans le complexe il y a un petit resto pizza, La pizza y est excellente, mais il y a aussi de trĂšs bons restos tout prĂšs comme le sol e luna et le studio est Ă  8 minutes de grand case oĂč il y a de fabuleux restos... tout y est trĂšs prĂšs le traversier pour l'ilet pinel Ă  5 minutes. Il y a aussi une petite Ă©picerie Ă  environ 3 minutes en voiture et une autre trĂšs grande Ă  une quinzaines de minutes. J'hĂ©sitais Ă  donner mes commentaires car je suis possessive je voudrais garder cet endroit juste pour moi... ha!ha! mais nous avons un service excellent des proprios et du couple qui s'occupe du studio Ă  St-Martin ils mĂ©ritent ces commentaires positifs. Je vais y retourner assurĂ©ment. Merci 😊

Komplett eingerichtetes Apartment mit super Blick auf Meer, Strand und Berge. Großes modern eingerichtetes Wohn-/Esszimmer, das durch Öffnen einer großen Balkon-GlasschiebetĂŒr, die komplett hinter einer Verbledung verschwindet, den Nutzbaren Raum noch grĂ¶ĂŸer macht. Komplett eingerichtete KĂŒche mit allen notwendigen Utensilien. Auch aufwendigeres Kochen dadurch möglich. Schlafzimmer mit fĂŒr französische VerhĂ€ltnisse großem Bett mit guter Matratze. Sehr gut funktionierende stufenlos regelbare Klimaanlage, die das Schlafen im Zimmer angenehm macht. Sehr gut funktionierendes W-LAN. Die Wohnung befindet sich im zweiten Stock einer Wohnanlage mit ĂŒber 200 Wohneinheiten. Dennoch ist ein ruhiger ungestörter Aufenthalt möglich. Zur Anlage gehört eine großzĂŒgige gut gepflegte Poolanlage mit einer großen Anzahl LiegestĂŒhle, die wĂ€hrend unseres Aufenthaltes nur spĂ€rlich genutzt wurden. Es gibt jedoch keinerlei Restaration im Poolbereich. Von der Poolanlage direkter Zugang zum ca. 3 km langen Orient-Beach. Schöne, lange StransspaziergĂ€nge sind dadurch möglich. Am Strand viele Möglichkeiten zum Wassersport, sowie Restaurationen mit Liegestuhlverleih. Leider war wĂ€hrend unseres Aufenthaltes am Strandabschnitt vor unserer Ferienanlage ein erhöhtes Algenaufkommen, sodass ein Schwimen dort unangenehm war. Am Empfang der Anlage ein kleiner Lebensmittelladen mit tĂ€glich frischem Baguettes und Croissants sowie eine kleine Pizzeria mit Pizzen von guter QualitĂ€t und freundlichem Service. Insgesamt haben wir den Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen. Die WohnungsĂŒbergabe war sowohl bei An- als auch bei Abreise unproblematisch. Ein Mietwagen ist bei Aufenthalt in der Anlage unbedingt empfehlenswert. Zu beachten ist, dass zwischen Parkplatz und Appartement eine gewisse Wegstrecke- auch mit GepĂ€ck und EinkĂ€ufen - zurĂŒck zu legen ist. FĂŒr Selbstversorger zu empfehlen ist die Boulangerie sowie die Boucherie/ Traiteur, die sich beide kurz hinter dem Kreisel zur Inselrundstraße Richtung Philipsburg befinden. Empfehlenswert Ist auch eine Tagestour zur Insel Pinel vorzugsweise mit einem gemietetem Kajak. Dort per Fußweg den relativ leeren Strand auf der Inselnordseite besuchen, schöne Schnorchelmöglichkeit. Zum Essen kann man ins nahe gelegene Grand Case fahren. Hier hat man eine große Auswahl an Restaurationen von einfacher karibischer KĂŒche (Lolos) bin hin zu französischen Gourmetrestaurants, empfelenswert: "La Villa" mit MenĂŒ-Festpreis. Unser Fazit: Wir kommen wieder!

Sea palm experience

My husband and I stayed at The Sea Palm for 9 days in April of 2017 for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We truly enjoyed our stay there. The view was amazing amd it was very relaxing to sit there at night and listen to the waves crash onto the shores of Orient beach! The beach itself was beautiful beyond words. We walked it almost every day. Everyone is very friendly. Local food was delicious. Line and Mark were extremely helpful with any questions or concerns we had about the area or the condo. I would refer this property to any family or friends looking to visit St. Martin. If and when my husband and I ever get a chance to return, we would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much to line and Mark for renting out their wonderful piece of paradise!
