If you love nature, sunsets, texture, art and wood...lots of wood, you'll find a home in El Nido (The Nest). Ramiro and I built El Nido to bring our favorite things together; building, recycling, art and design. Nestled lake side, you have the best view on the property; sunsets over the private lake enjoyed from your bed through your bedroom vintage french doors and/or from your private fenced yard space.

Once the sun sets, the community fire pit is lit to add a relaxing evening experience.
All our guests love this part of their long day - a shower, a beverage and fire.

Great Experience
The cabin was as described. I enjoyed seeing the lake out of the patio door of the bedroom. Hosts were easily approachable had there have been any issues. I will definitely book it again.

Perfect Overnight Stay
Our visit was just what we needed, waiting to fly home after a cruise vacation. It is always sad to have an amazing trip come to an end, so we decided to add an extra day and try out Elsie's Glamping Experience on the lake. It exceeded our expectations. The cottage was exactly as pictured. Sadly it rained all afternoon, into the next morning, so we decided not to walk into Baldwin Park, and drove instead. There is a guestbook where guests share their experiences, and several noted the short walk into the town...It was a great place to enjoy a beverage and nice dinner. Back at the lake we LOVED the sound of the rain hitting off the roof. It lulled us to sleep. The bathroom was just as lovely as the rest of the place, with a fabulous rainfall shower. Snacks were provided, and everything else you could need for a few days stay. The details and decor are unique and beautiful. Check in and check out was a breeze...the only little hiccup was a scavenger hunt for the refrigerator...Yes, there is one, and we won't give away the location. It was fun to look for :-). We highly recommend this adorable cottage!

Cute getaway!
This was the perfect place for me and my husband to enjoy just for one night. The small little nook had just the right amenities and location. We really enjoyed our stay and may come back during the warmer season.

This was exactly what my spouse and I needed! It’s a beautiful place with a lot of charm! When we arrived, there was peaceful music playing in the background, low-lit, with the perfect temperature. We had such a great time enjoying each other’s company. The lake view was breathtaking! The little details inside made us feel at home! I didn’t want to leave! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful artsy cabin with original art and creative details throughout. Perfect stay for our art weekend getaway in Orlando. Loved the lake view and fire. Elsie was a wonderful host. Would definitely recommend.

Relaxing cabin on the lake
It was a wonderful experience. Newly built small one bedroom home with a Lam view seating area. Fire at night. With sweet amenities of coffee, tea, oatmeal / grits to cook for your self. Artist flare in each area. Splendidly clean and a wonderful host .We walked around the lake in less then 45 minutes enjoying nature. I would return again if ever visiting Baldwin Park.

Elsie, the owner was very easy to communicate with and a very gracious host. She set up a wonderful anniversary package and allowed me to pick the wine we would prefer. We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed our time here. Highly recommend
