Beautiful and Spacious Private Pool Home in "The Shire" Gated Community. Perfect for a family vacation, a business trip or a relaxing couples getaway. Close to Disney and Universal theme parks. Champions Gate is nearby and offers plenty of charming restaurants, shops and golfing. Relax by the heated pool or take a dip in the hot tub spa. Need to get some work done? No worries - this home provides free wifi as well as an office nook equipped with a printer and scanner for your convenience. The Shire now has new Flat Screen TVs in most rooms, and a separate living and family room - perfect for a multi family vacation. We have also added a BBQ Grill for your convenience. Everything you could want under one roof.

Nearby Clubhouse features a gym, ping pong table, tennis courts, sand volleyball, media area and a large community pool.

(Pool heat is an additional $20 per day to offset energy bill costs. Please let us know at the time of booking if you are requesting pool heat. Pool heat is for the entire length of stay. At least 48 hours notice required to warm pool prior to arrival.)

Pool heat is an additional $20 per day to cover electric bill and must be for the entire length of stay. Also, cars may only park in driveway.
Guests must put garbage bin out on Sunday night for pickup and BBQ Grill must be properly cleaned after use to avoid being charged a $40 cleaning fee.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was very prompt and easy to communicate with. The house was clean, spacious, and perfect for our group. The kids absolutely loved the pool! perfect vakantie huis in een hele veilige buurt

De communicatie met de eigenaar vanaf het moment van boeken van de woning was perfect. Alle informatie die nodig was is keurig van tevoren geregeld. Het huis was prima uitgerust. Goede bedden, badkamers, slaapkamers en een goed uitgeruste keuken. De hele wijk is beveiligd door een toegangshek en door middel van een code die vooraf gegeven wordt krijg je toegang tot de wijk en de deur bij de woning. Lekker zwembad en de mogelijkheid om de barbeque aan te steken. Parkeren voor de deur. De pretparken zijn te bereiken tussen de 15 en 30 minuten. Een supermarkt (Publix) zit op 5 minuten rijden. Diverse mogelijkheden om uit eten te gaan in de buurt. Kortom. Een prima huis, een veilige omgeving en prima communicatie met Monica, de eigenaar. We zouden zo weer boeken.

Everything was as stated. Monica stayed in touch to be sure things were going well after our arrival and the night before we left. Of the homes we have stayed at this was our favorite. We paid for heated pool and the last night we were there it was in the 50s but my granddaughters played in the pool all evening.

We enjoyed the home. The owner was very accommodating and checked in on us through text message. I only needed to reach out to her once on the day of arrival, she quickly replied. Everything was excellent. All the information for the house was sent several days in advance. Giving me time to make sure we had everything we needed. Monica checked in to make sure everything was ok. She answered any questions and sent all the check-out information again before we left. We paid for the heat and the pool and hot tub was great! Everything was clean and the kitchen well stocked for cooking anything.

Little things lacking

The house was beautiful as advertised. However, online it said oil and salt and pepper were provided, they were not. We had to go on a late night trip to find a store open and buy some to cook with. When tp was running out for the 6 of us with a 5 day stay, we were Then told we were provided only 1 complimentary roll per bathroom and had to provide any more. Another trip to the grocery store. Shampoo was supposed to be provided and was not. Only at the house was a book that stated starter kit provided of soaps, etc. not online. That included only 2 kitchen trash bags, 2 laundry pods, no dryer sheets, and teensy hand soaps for sinks/shower. Having to buy extra and then take home in our luggage felt very annoying when it would cost the host about $10 more to provide in general more supplies.

Perfect Holiday Home & Location for all the attractions.

9th Sept for 7 nights -Two of us flew over for a quick break from the UK weather and to try out Monica’s house for 2026 for us, our two adult sons & girlfriends to stay for a month. On arrival we can only describe our first reaction as ‘WOW’ - what a gorgeous house, so big, clean, well presented. The bedrooms were spaced out – the reception was enormous, the kitchen was superb and having stopped on West haven in other accommodation, this was the best equipped kitchen we have ever used, not only the cooker, air fryer and toaster etc, but utensils, crockery, glasses and plastic for the pool. The electric recliner sofa and huge TV with cable was amazing AND, in every bedroom, TV’s and cable access. Air conditioning perfect and the welcome pack and the presentation of the beds and towels in the bathrooms was a lovely touch. We paid for pool heating and this made the Hot Tub Spa perfect either in the morning or evening and the pool was super clean and perfect. Plenty of loungers and seating and a sun trap for those relaxing hours. This house on West Haven is minutes from Champions Gate perfect for Publix, Millers Ale House, petrol & Maccies,Target & Walmart. Locally we ate at The Longhorns, Buffalo Wild Wings and Millers Ale House & 20-25 min drive to Disney Springs & Universal City Walk. Monica is the perfect hostess, easily reachable, courteous & intent on giving her guests the perfect vacation. A 5-star recommendation from us. Can't wait to return in 2026 - Sharon & Dik (UK) x

"The Shire" was a wonderful home away from home for our 10 day Florida family vacation during March 2024. The home was spacious, comfortable and had all the amenities that we needed. Perfect relaxing stay for the holidays

Our family was looking for someplace convenient to things to see and do in Orlando, but we wanted a quiet neighborhood to get away from the noise when we wanted to. This place was perfect! The gated neighborhood meant we didn't see hardly any cars coming by the house, and we had a great time relaxing in the heated pool and hot tub while looking over the natural area in the backyard. The house had lots of space for our family & we loved the open floorplan for casual dining and watching TV etc. The workspace was a nice touch and wifi was super fast, very much appreciated as we needed to do some work while away from home. Home was very clean and our host was super responsive with any questions. Overall awesome stay!

A beautiful villa

Monica's spacious and beautiful villa is situated in the Shire at West Haven, and is handily placed for drives up the I-4 to Disney, Universal, and also the Premium Outlets and malls. It has two Publix supermarkets within 10 minutes, and is also close to Posner Park, for fans on Bath & Body Works. The Shire itself is a well maintained gated community that provides tranquility away from the theme parks, and there is ample opportunity at the villa for some sun drenched lounging at pool side. Highly recommended.
