Considering itâs a traditional Japanese hold house style apartment, donât come expecting the same treatment from hotels. There is a small entryway for your shoes and a second door to close and lock. Inside was the two beds and additional bedding on the floor. The closet door was broken. The kitchen had minimal bowls and utensils and a hot water kettle. The bathroom has the shower side and a tub. The shower side has the sink but no stool to sit on and wash so you have to just squat the whole time or stand to wash yourself. The tub is deep. We didnât use the shower during our stay here. There were no large towels for us to use. I asked about it and they said there are only eight towels but theyâre the size of kitchen towels that we use in America. No where near enough to cover my fat ass let alone even my 1 year old baby.
The bed is hard and the pillows are harder. On our third day we found a cockroach in the kitchen. I took pictures and a video and after a struggle to catch it we ended up checking out a day early cause I couldnât stand knowing there could be more cockroaches there when I have a baby that crawls and gets into everything. Ugh. I covered the cockroach in a cup and then put a big pot over it so we wouldnât trip over it or anything. It got on the floor. Hopefully the cleaners didnât get scared by it. I havenât contacted the property regarding it since Iâve been busy on my trip so this review will have to do.
Would not recommend this place.
