The Historic Commercial Hotel (Est. 1868) in Osceola, Missouri provides numerous themed room after past historical guests such as Jesse/Frank James Suite, The Younger Gang suite, Tom Mix Suite, Sally Rand Suite and President Truman Suite. Also provides early 1900 style rooms for Hunters and Fisherman who just need a quaint place to lay their head for a night or more. Old world feel with some modern accommodations.
Property is very nice. A short walk to a playground by the lake. One block to a nice Mexican Restaurant and one block to a coffee house and a very awesome barber shop where my great grandson got his first haircut. We found out later that his dad had his very first haircut there too.
Enjoyed the comfy beds.
We loved our stay at the Historic Commercisl Hotel. We stayed in the Sally Rand room and the Tom Mix room. Decor in both were great! The atmosphere feels like you have gone back in time. The hosts were great and very informative. I would highly recommend staying here. We plan to again in the future!
Our hosts provided for two stays in a central location on the historic Osceola square. Property is clean and well-maintained. I highly recommend La Casita if you want some great street tacos, Sugarfoot if you're in the mood for BBQ!
We sure enjoyed our stay at the Historic Commercial Hotel in Osceola, Missouri. What a great place to celebrate 47 years of marriage. The hotel was clean as a whistle including our room and the bathrooms. The environment was inviting. Our hosts where so congenial and thoughtful. We shall always treasure our time at the Historic Commercial Hotel in Osceola, Missouri.
Excellent place to stay with some great historic touches. Location is one block from where my wife made a presentation at the St. Clair County Historical Society.
I spent two nights at the historic commercial hotel in downtown Osceola. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I was there for a two night event at a local venue and thoroughly enjoyed a peaceful respite in a sleepy little town. Enjoyed my walk around the square visiting with various shop owners. Definitely would stay here again if Iâm ever back in this beautiful area. I was very grateful for the brochures in the room which gave information about local sites to see and restaurants. Being an historic hotel it is definitely showing itâs age, but the owner has done a wonderful job of renovating it and keeping it spotlessly clean.
