E Ranch is located 10 miles from Highlands on the Atlanta side, 10 miles from Clayton, 2 miles from Dillard, 1 mile from Sky Valley and only 2 hours from Atlanta...a great home base for all the area has to offer. It’s balconies overlook a soothing and tranquil mountain brook allowing you to relax with the sounds of nature. Walk, run, or play in your own private pasture or just relax and watch the clouds roll by. E Ranch has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, an open living area, and a private outdoor area with shower and hot tub. E Ranch is a structure blending modern and rustic elements. The property is easily accessible from a short, well graded gravel driveway without the treacherous, car punishing dirt roads you may encounter at many mountain cabins. It is located within 3 miles of stores, restaurants and civilization yet, it feels worlds away from everything. You hear nothing but the stream and sounds of nature.

The property is located in close proximity to waterfalls, hiking, shopping, scenic drives, fine restaurants, wineries and distilleries, state parks, rafting, zip lining, fishing, and farm to table markets.

Anniversary trip with just me and the wife. House was relatively easy to find, well apportioned, and offered a lot of great extras in amenities and entertainment. Everything was in great working order. Easy to get to Highlands, Clayton, and Franklin. We even shot over to our favorite winery in Young Harris then back down to Helen for food one afternoon. Overall very relaxing stay. That fireplace in the living room is no joke - it heats the whole house quickly

The house was great! Lots of space for all of us to sit on the couch, plenty of space to sleep. The outside of the house was amazing - gas fireplaces, hot tub, the actual fire pit, the inside fireplace, and the "backwood" lounge area. We loved spending time at the house to use all these things! The only thing I wish it had was more towels, more blankets (espcially to sit outside with), and containers to store food in when we cooked and had leftovers or wanted to bring food with us on our travels for the day. Its right in beetween Highlands (a little more upscale) and Clayton (we really enjoyed this downtown). Plenty of hikes to do in the area. And the Highlands Post is right down the street as well for some more outdoor fun. If we ever go back to the area, we would definitely stay here again!

We had such a sweet time at E Ranch. The home was cozy, had everything we needed and was perfect for a getaway. We enjoyed all the outdoor areas- the fire pit, hot tub, outdoor lights, etc. Laura was responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Very nice property! Private but not a long drive to Dillard. Huge pasture and creek made my pup’s first vacation a success. Clean and uncluttered inside and just the right amenities outside. Several outdoor seating areas from which to choose. Convenient to Highlands, a little further to Clayton. Beware driving between Dillard and Clayton— lots of construction with constantly changing speed limits between 25 and 55 mph. Take it slow going down the hill to the house as the road has some large potholes. Overall, we would love to stay again—5 stars!
