This is your quiet sanctuary to relax and recharge after busy day traveling. Beautiful decor, comfy couches and new mattresses with freshly laundered linens, nicely stocked kitchen - everything you need for a great relaxing stay. Conveniently located in the heart of Overland Park, 30 mins from KC airport, downtown, Power & Light district or Convention Center. Great for business travelers, families or couples. Very affordable. Easy highway access (US69/ I-35)
The house has two levels. Two bedrooms, full bathroom , living space and the kitchen are located on upper level with another two bedrooms, full bathroom, laundry room and garage located downstairs. Couch upstairs can be transformed into a bed large enough for two. Kitchen is fully stocked with basic essentials like cups, glasses, plates, silverware, pots and pans.
Our process assumes no interaction with the hosts, i.e. self check-in/check-out, but we're text/phone call away if you have a question or concern.
Neighborhood overview: quiet, safe and beautiful neighborhood very close to Overland Park City Hall complex.
You can use garage (fit one vehicle) but we don't provide garage opener.
You can also park on left side of the driveway (2 cars) or on the street (if available)
Other things to note: please no pets. Please respect our neighbors - no loud music or noise or party after 10pm.
Please note, we are not responsible for any lost or stolen mail deliveries, forgotten items. We charge a min charge of $50 for any requests to ship lost items (not including the cost of shipping)

Great basic house

We had 8 people (4 adults and 4 kids) and having multiple levels was very nice. The kids took over the downstairs and the adults had the upstairs. We did have an issue with the Internet, but the owner contacted me and arranged to fix it before I could contact him to let him know of the issue. I would stay here again.

Plumbing problem!

We were in town to run a 45 mile road race. Rather frustrating we couldn’t shower afterwards due to plumbing problem and owner couldn’t or wouldn’t come fix it. Lock on bottom patio door was broken also. Otherwise duplex was nice place!

Booked the entire duplex--this unit and the adjacent one--for multiple family members attending a wedding. Spacious, clean, convenient, and supplied with the usual conveniences we expect from a hotel stay at a more affordabe price!

Very nice for the price. Needed more pillows for as many places to sleep. We forgot to bring our own. Enough towels which was great. Lighting wanting as we are use to we like a bright front room. Trimming that front tree/bush would be beneficial to curb appeal and lighting. Overall 3.5

Cute up-to-date house.

It was a very clean and modern house. My kids loved having the alexa and all the options on tv. It was a peaceful neighborhood with friendly neighbors. It wasceasy to find and a garage to park the car. I took my husband andvtwo teenage kids. The teenage boy got the whole downstairs to himself and loved it. There is plentyof room to fit up to 10 people if needed. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was very modern.

Location, Location, Location

Our stay at this VRBO was a good experience. We celebrated our sister's 60th birthday. The location was great to get to places like Kansas City Union Station and eateries and shops. The house was very clean when we got there and it fulfilled our needs.

The duplex was very clean! There was plenty of room for everyone and it was the prefect location for us. The decorations were well done. It was very inviting and welcoming. We had no issues at check in or check out. We would definitely be staying there again if we are ever in the area.

Great little duplex just outside of downtown KC

Group of friends and I came down to visit Kansas City for the weekend, and this was a good location for a very good price. The place was very clean, and there was plenty of bedding and towels. We did not spend a lot of time at the place (since we were downtown nearly all day and night while visiting), but there was a nice dining table, and the kitchen was stocked with the basics as well. There was one large bed in a room, two twin beds in a room, and two pull out futons. Sleeps five comfortably with no one sharing, and could easily sleep many more if people are sharing. The place was about a 20 to 25 minute drive from the downtown hits such Boulevard Brewery and Kansas City Joe's. It was also about 1 mile away from the downtown stretch of Overland Park. The only minor complaint we would have had is the owner listed WiFi and TV - but we were informed they were being installed the week after our stay. However, we were not at the duplex much, so this was not a big issue for us. Once those are set up, this is a great place to stay for the weekend if you are in KC!
