The front desk clerk was a wonderful person. The room was awful. Beds all rumpled, some black stuff on the toilet seat, soap grime in the bathtub, the first-floor windows were open when I arrived and I shut them but couldn't tell if they locked, there were crumbs on the floor. The clerk apologized and moved me to a different room where the windows seemed to lock better the beds were neater, although the sheets on one bed were stained and there was a weird brown stain on the bathroom wall by the toilet. Once I slept, I slept well. But I would only stay here again if there were absolutely no other choices, including campgrounds.

The room was clean for the most part. However, there were a lot of drink stains on the end table that had not been washed off. The wash clothes oozed blue dye while using it in the shower, the same color as the cloth. During the night, about 3 a.m., someone kept going in and out of their room for a half hour, letting the door slam behind them. It was very loud and disruptive. The pillows were very hard and flat. I would recommend bringing your own if you stay there. The staff were very friendly and helpful though.

I Do Not Recommend

The room itself was adequate. A supposed computer glitch led to my room being cleaned and a large amount of cash going missing. There are no cameras on the second floor and the police have no possible way to conduct an investigation. I would not recommend this motel.

Needs attention.

We had some issues about the cleanliness of the toilet at the bathroom and several things in the room needed some mechanical attention. The staff very friendly. Accommodating. There was a wedding with lots of guests that weekend so there was a lot of activity outside during the course of the evening and late hours but not noisy. Just activity.

Don’t stay here

We checked in and went to dinner. When we went to our room, we found the beds to be rumpled and unclean - stained sheets, hairs, and not made. We went back downstairs to ask for help, but staff had left for the night. There was a note with a number to call for help, but no one answered. Left a voicemail, but no one ever called back. Called Hotels.com, but they were useless and have refused to give us a refund. We went to the other hotel down the road and paid directly. Now we’re out over $400. Don’t stay here.

The desk staff were VERY KIND AND HELPFUL. The walls are thin, and the neighbors were loud. The room was basic, and mostly clean, but I did have to pluck some hair and other stuff out of the bed before I climbed in, and the bedspread appeared as if someone had been sitting on it before I arrived, and that was not very welcoming. Also: a hairdryer in the room would be great. I did enjoy the morning coffee and a pear.
