Welcome to Blue Moon Cottage, a charming home nestled in the heart of Owensboro, that offers a lovely blend of vintage allure and modern comfort. Built in 1935 and recently remodeled, this historic home exudes both character and contemporary elegance.

Relax by the pool and cozy outdoor seating area, or indulge in the beautifully decorated interiors which includes a room dedicated to bluegrass music, a musical genre that originated in this area.

The Blue Moon Cottage was a winner in all categories! Clean, comfortable, and close to the places we traveled to visit. Excellent communication from owner and super easy check in and out. We travel to Owensboro annually and always stay with VRBO. Blue Moon is hands down the best rental in the area!

Blue Moon Cottage was a great place for our get away!! The kitchen was well equipped so we were able to fix dinner both nights. Pool was not open for the season yet. The host was great to work with and very quick to respond. Jouse was big enough for some family to gather and enjoy each comfortably. Definitely will have to try and stay here again when the pool is open. The decor of the house was so cute. So overall I scored huge brownie points with my fiancé and her family for getting this place!

The house was perfect for our family! We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our time in Owensboro! The only issue we had was that the doors to the downstairs bedroom do not close all the way.

This place exceeded my expectations, it was stunning! They didn’t miss a single detail and the interior decorator did an amazing job! The pool was so much fun and the area was very peaceful! We would return, this was the best experience I’ve ever had in a short term rental, there are zero complaints, it was so perfect!

Great layout and amenities for multiple families

House layout is fantastic for several families. Bedrooms are large with closets stocked with extra blankets, pillows and a small fan. The kitchen is small, but stocked with everything we needed. The stocked coffee area and basket of snacks were used daily. Both kids and adults enjoyed the large pool. We will stay here again the next time we visit the area.

Beautiful home in Owensboro

Was in town for a family event last week. The Blue Moon Cottage is a beautiful home, with plenty of space and everything you can think of. Has to be one of the best rentals in Owensboro. Nice quiet neighborhood but also minutes away from anything you need, especially good barbecue! We will definitely stay here again next time we are in town!

House was spotless. Remodeled and furnished beautifully. More spacious than photos show. It was too cool for us to enjoy the pool but the fire table on the back porch was perfect for a chilly night. The neighborhood is picturesque. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed and more. Host provided thoughtful and sufficient amenities. Stayed with family (4 adults and 5 kids 1-6 years old) and had the best weekend. So much better staying here than a hotel in separate rooms. 10/10 recommended and will be rebooking.

Good find in Owensboro.

We have family in Owensboro, and sometimes we need a little extra space when we visit from Bowling Green. This adorable house is in the perfect location and gives us the extra space needed for “spillover”…so much better than staying at a hotel. We will definitely be staying at the Blue Moon Cottage again!

Our number one priority was the pool and it didn't disappoint! The pool area had lovely trees around it. One of my sisters said she plans to stay in your area in the future and wants to stay there again.

Charming place

We came down for my son’s wedding. The cottage was very nice, clean and all the bedrooms had lovely decor and king sized beds. The main living room was big enough for all who stayed with us. Love that we could do laundry. The pool was still open and we did get a swim in due to how warm it was outside. We absolutely loved this vrbo. We will definitely stay here again.
