The house was perfect for 2 couples and 2 teenaged girls. It was easy to find and close to downtown area. The home was very clean and the neighborhood was quiet. We greatly appreciated having the coffee pot and espresso machine for our early morning ventures. The showers have good water pressure with enough hot water for us all. I had a few questions and our host was very kind and responded quickly. I would highly recommend staying here when in Owensboro!

This was a great find in Owensboro! Having a garage and a fenced backyard were definite perks. Everything is as advertised, nice updated decor, and comfortable, cozy seating to watch tv around. Child and pet friendly. A small, but well-stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare meals.

Heather was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. Loved being able to use the garage to park in especially since it was cold. Cute and cozy home. The master bed wasn’t comfortable but other than that I would stay there again.

The plugs in the bedroom with twin beds did not work well. There is a loose connection when I plugged in. Also the king bedroom bathroom door locked and one of our ladies could not get out. All else was fine.

The property is ok if you have pets. I realize that it’s harder to rent when you have a dog, so you can’t be too picky.The house itself is good for dogs as the floors are inexpensive vinyl, a fenced backyard (although there are several yippy dogs next door), and a large park nearby.The house itself is older and was touched up with paint and decorations. There is a LOT of minor maintenance that is needed. Windows won’t open, doors hard to close, outlets and fixtures that need replacing. Ceiling fans that hum. Rusty areas just painted over. Grill in back tiny and charcoal. No privacy in back yard with low fence.Kitchen pans/utensils are bleak and cheap (worn non stick pans). Lawn is all weeds and cut high. Not much landscaping.Neighborhood is ok but low rental housing around corner. They have a ring doorbell for security so they want the WiFi on at all times.Beds not great and had a fabreze like smell if you are sensitive.Location wise, Owensboro is easy to get around but this location makes it super easy.

Good enough

This is a dog friendly property. However, I was traveling with dogs under 25 pounds and they could have easily gotten out of the fenced in yard so we kept them on a leash. Clean house with all that you need but some up keep items needed to be done. When you arrive to the property you are greeted by a storm door damaged and scratched by a previous dog. Overall, I would stay again but also have stayed in more “loved” properties.
