Cozy House near Ole Miss & M-Trade!

Come enjoy your time in Oxford at our cozy 3 bedroom home. Just 3 miles from Vaught Hemingway Stadium, the historic Oxford Square, and shopping on Jackson Ave.

This is the perfect place to stay with family or friends if you are cheering on the Rebels, or if you're just here to have a good time.

NOTICE: During the summer months the second floor of the house gets warm, especially during the hottest part of the day. We ask that you please keep in mind that most air conditioning systems can only handle a 20-degree difference between the outside and inside air temperatures. There is a 70 degree minimum set for the AC so it is not overworked. We provide extra fans in the closets to help keep you comfortable. We also suggest closing blinds/curtains upstairs to help keep the upstairs cool.
Similarly, during the cold winter months the downstairs is difficult to heat, we provide extra blankets and a space heater.

For the price we paid I was disappointed in the cleanliness. I have been a short term rental owner for many years I know the owners live out of the area but they need to check In With who cleans their place. The bedroom with bath had a poorly draining tub. The remote did not work in that room. Otherwise it was a great location for Ole Miss and close to other sites

Convenient

Very close to MTrade Park. The area is nice. There were a few stains that made me leary on the cleanliness. A couple of stains in the middle of the couch and a few pillows. I noticed a few things on the wall going up the stairs that needs to be cleaned. May be something the cleaner can take care of easily if they were brought attention to it. It was very accommodating though and overall enjoyed our stay.

Loved it.

This was one of the cleanest places we have stayed! The area was quiet. Close to everything. Everything you could think of was available. Loved the fenced in backyard. Only small thing would be that curtains are needed in the bedroom. It gets bright early in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay for Ole Miss move in

Stayed here for 2 nights while we moved in my daughter into her dorm. House was cozy and we enjoyed our stay. Enjoyed the backyard space and felt private despite being in close proximity to neighbors.

Not what we expected

Positives: a great renovated kitchen, overall clean, a nice downstairs sitting area, one upstairs bedroom nicely appointed. Hardwood floors upstairs and new tile downstairs. The hosts were responsive to emails. Neutral: 8-10 min from Ole Miss campus (a bit further than we anticipated) Negatives: The home is in a low-to-mid income development with some of the identical houses in quasi-disrepair or below average upkeep. A few have been purchased and updated as rentals (such as this one). The entry sign of gray stone has a few letters falling off; a broken bicycle and dirty child's table were on the curb a few doors down; grass was growing out of the sidewalks; shrubs were overgrown on some houses. Inside, it smelled faintly like an old sponge. The carpet on the stairs is old and worn. The doors are hollow and a bit flimsy. 2 of 3 beds have foam pads, one does not. The mattresses seem a little used. The sheets are polyester and feel worn. (Beware if you need cotton sheets; they don't have them.) The ac does not go below 70 (although the host explained it was locked for the summer heat and said it was on the listing). Overall, the quality was lower than we expected. It's always a good reminder than pictures provide the best possible look of a location, reality can be different. This home may be a fine fit for some, but just know what you're getting into. Please note that it did not seem unsafe.

Spring break trip to visit family in Oxford

We loved the townhouse. It was very clean. Close to everything in town. As always we hate to leave Oxford but our next visit we will try Lost Pizza restaurant!! Their parking lot was packed each night so it must be good food. Until next time Oxford.

Cozy House Oxford

The cozy house was more than just cozy. It met all of our needs and more. Extremely clean. Well outfitted with everything you can need from the kitchen (appliances, silverware, cooking items, coffee on hand) living room, TV access, and even the bathrooms. If I need to stay in Oxford again, I will certainly stay here.
