Drift Away is the perfect vacation getaway. This five-bedroom home away from home is the perfect place for family and friends to get together. DRIFT AWAY is in the heart of Seabrook just a few steps from the Town Hall, a stone’s throw from the shops and only five minutes’ walk to the beach. The indoor pool is just around the corner and a ping pong table is in the garage. The house has wrap around decks facing west towards the ocean and fabulous sunsets and a fire to keep you cozy.

The landscaped yard has a hot tub to relax in with friends; you can gather round the fire pit to roast that perfect s’more; or sit on the deck around the outdoor gas fireplace. The deck also has a stainless-steel grill for cooking up your favorite meals.

Whether for a wedding, a family reunion, a corporate retreat, a holiday celebration or just a relaxing vacation with friends and family, DRIFT AWAY accommodates fifteen people in comfort and style and will become the place for you to build everlasting memories.

The Main Floor
The spacious great room with its dark wood floors and area rugs is the place for relaxing and having fun. Enjoy the cozy fire surrounded by comfortable couches and chairs. Over the fireplace is a flat screen TV with cable programming. There is a DVD/Blue Ray player, and a music player with Bluetooth connection.

The kitchen is usually the center of the action and the kitchen at DRIFT AWAY is just the same. This gourmet kitchen is made for entertaining. From the Barn wood finished, quartz topped, ten-foot island to the six-burner gas range with double ovens to the farmhouse sink flanked by two dishwashers, this kitchen has everything you need for entertaining. It has a 38 cubic foot refrigerator and a second fridge in the pantry.

Gather in the dining area for those get-together meals surrounded by family and friends. The dining table will seat fourteen and six more can sit at the island just a step away. The dining area looks out the French doors to the wrap around covered deck with the outside fireplace and grill.

Just off the kitchen through the 100-year-old barn door, which was rescued from the old Aloha Mill in Pacific Beach, you will find the pantry with all the room you need to store all your food items. There is also a powder room and a large laundry room with full size washer and dryer and a utility sink, perfect for throwing in those wet beach towels, rinsing the dog or cleaning clams.

On the main floor, there is a primary  bedroom, a sun room and a mud room. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, plenty of closet space and a flat screen TV. The en-suite private primary bathroom has twin vanity sinks and a tiled walk in shower. The south facing sun room is the perfect place to relax with a cup of coffee, have a Zoom meeting, read a good book or just chat with friends or family while the kids are playing outside in the yard. Built in benches and some comfy chairs make this bright and cheery room a special place to be.

On the second floor
The second floor has two guest bedrooms and a primary bedroom connected by a wide hall way. In the hall way is a guest bathroom with twin vanities a large bath and tiled shower. All the bedrooms are outfitted with brand new luxury mattresses and flat screen T.V.’s. With the sound of the waves in the distance you will have a perfect night’s sleep.

Lose yourself in the spacious Primary Suite, with king bed, TV and dresser. The suite has a private bathroom with a free standing soaking tub, a separate shower for two, two sinks and a walk-in closet with a full-length mirror. Start your morning with coffee or end your day with a glass of wine on the private balcony.

On the third floor
On the third floor is the bunk room. This is sleepover central with two twin bunk beds and a trundle bed; this room is set up for fun. Each bunk has its own bulkhead light and there is a flat screen TV.

Also on the third floor in the play/media room there is a high-quality queen sleeper sofa bed.

The play/media room has a giant flat screen TV with DVD/Blue Ray player and an Xbox 360 console. There is plenty of seating for the crowd to watch a great movie, a Seahawks game or whatever takes your fancy. There is a card table in the playroom for cards, a board game or even a jigsaw puzzle. We have a great selection of books, children’s toys, family games and movies, yours to enjoy during your stay or just bring your own!

A hidden gem on the third floor is the children’s hide-away. We have fitted out a tiny room under the eaves with bulk with bulkhead lights, a chalkboard and plenty of pillows. Don’t be surprised to find a little one fast asleep in the secret room after a hard day at the beach!

Also on the third floor is a bathroom with vanity, toilet and a walk-in shower. In the bathroom are eight cubbies for people to store their toothbrush and other personal items.

DRIFT AWAY is a Dog Friendly House

Please help keep the home in tip top condition by keeping pets off the beds and furniture.

Leashes, a towel to dry dirty paws, dog bowls and a dog sleeping mat are provided. A dog gate will keep your muddy pet in the mud room while he dries off. Drift Away has a fully fenced back yard.

 
Please be aware that your rental property shares a lot with a carriage house that may be owner-occupied.
