Nestled between the ruins of Padern Castle and the foothills of Mont Tauch, this family home offers an exceptional setting for discovering the soul of the Corbières. Here, you'll be in the heart of a preserved region, surrounded by renowned vineyards, hiking trails, and exceptional historical sites. Nearby, the castles of Quéribus and Peyrepertuse stand atop their rocky spurs, striking reminders of the Cathar past. The Mediterranean Sea, with its beaches and ponds, is only an hour's drive away, as are the seaside resorts of the Aude coast. The spacious and bright house is spread over two levels: On the ground floor: _ Two bedrooms, one with a double bed (140 cm), the other with a period double bed (120 cm) and a double sofa bed. _ A shower room with toilet. Down a few steps, a large suite with a king-size bed, and on the mezzanine above, a single bed (90 cm), and an adjoining bathroom with a bathtub and toilet. Upstairs: a bright living room with an open kitchen, a lounge area with a TV. Finally, the panoramic terrace offers unobstructed views of the village, the surrounding hills, the castle, and the typical garrigue landscapes. Sun loungers, garden furniture, a parasol, and an electric barbecue will allow you to fully enjoy the sunny days and starry evenings. Communal parking is 50 meters away.
