This is the best place to stay if you are in the area or visiting Paducah. I can't say enough about how great the KDV is. The onsite restaurant service and food deserve 5 stars. The staff at front desk go above and beyond your expectations to make sure your stay is pleasant and comfortable. The room was very clean and the bed felt like I was sleeping at a high end hotel. Cannot praise this place enough.

i enjoyed the place but if tour looking for a fancy place, its not. There was 10 empty beer cans on my deck when i arrived. No fridg, or microwave. the electricity was out one morning making for an interesting time getting ready. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Dispute all, i would stay again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the lodge is in need of a major remodel. The rooms were very clean but older and dark. The rooms are not easily accessible unless you are on the main level. All steps are very steep making it hard to carry luggage, etc.

Clean but dated.

The cottage was clean, a little dated. The bed was just ok. The box springs creaked averytime we rolled over. There could have been more silverware and pans in the kitchen. There was a power outage at 4 am, so we got up about 8 and left.

The room was clean and ok. However, the electricity went out at 4 am this morning. I am sure it was of no fault of the state park. However, when checking out, I was promised a discount/small refund on my bill and when it was emailed to me this afternoon, no discount was applied. I am awaiting hearing from the property. I have stayed here before and will again.

Spiders

The room it self was nice. Be we was going to sit on the balcony and just look over the lake and enjoy a weekend getaway. The amount of spiders on the balcony was crazy. We went a bought a broom to clean the spider webs so we coule set outside. I have stayed here a few time and this was the 1st time I have seen this.

Wonderful stay at Kentucky Dam Village Lodge

We traveled to Kentucky Dam Village and stayed at the lodge for the first time this past week. The staff members were all very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable. The beds seemed to be full size, but they were very comfortable and we slept well. There was a balcony with 2 chairs and a table that overlooked the lake and Dam which was very nice to sit out on in the mornings. Very beautiful and peaceful area. They do have a restaurant with a buffet for breakfast and supper, but we didn’t eat there. We did check it out and looked and smelled like it would be good. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.
