We stayed in the Mustang inn in Paducah Kentucky. And the best way I can explain the state of the hotel and the room itself is far below passable standards. There was half cleaned up and very old vomit three doors down from my room, the room smelled strongly of cigarettes and it never went away. There were a couple small bugs in the bathroom and stains on the bed and towels, hair in the bed as well. It was a nasty place.

The entire hotel had an old musty, unclean smell to it. The bath linens were greyish and very rough, the shower gel was empty, and it just had a grungy appearance. We tried it of course because of the price, but it had 8.5 stars. We were traveling and tired and didn’t talk to management as we only were there from about 9 pm until we got back on the road at 4 am. Wouldn’t stay again. Too bad, we like supporting the little guys

You need to take this hotel off you listing site! The room was absolutely filthy!! We booked for a non-smoking room and it smelled of smoke and dirt. The soap dish in the bathroom had mold; the toilet had toilet paper in it; a washcloth when opened had black stains; sheets had stains; the floor and wall outlet behind and along the nightstand was caked with dust and filth. We told the check-in people we could stay. They printed an invoice with a credit for the amount charged to our credit card. Now 7 days later we have no refund on our cc and they insisted that we call our bank because they cannot credit a refund?? Makes no sense! Not sure how in the world they are still in business and why they have good reviews. We have always trusted Hotels.com and have had wonderful experiences with the hotels we choose to stay at. Please consider removing them from your site. Thank you

Our room floors were not vacuumed, the bathroom had someone else’s hair all over it (back of toilet, tub, floor-gross). The lightbulb in the lamp was unscrewed. Our mini fridge did not work. Hallways all smelled like smoke. Booked because it said breakfast included—no breakfast included. Oh and on top of that, very poor attempt at snow removal and it was slippery in the parking lot.

The main thing that we appreciated was the quiet! We came in late both nights we stayed at the Mustang - it was an overnight break in a long drive to and from family - and the hotel was so quiet! The bed was comfortable and the blackout shades worked great. HVAC was quiet and functional. The parking lot was fine. There isn’t a breakfast on offer right now (they are in process of joining the Sleep-Inn brand) but the fridge and microwave were handy. The bathrooms in each of our ground floor rooms were vintage tile that looked new. Great water pressure! Friendly staff.
Excuse the messy bed, but yes, the rooms are spacious and the bed was comfy!

First room had toothpaste on the vanity from the previous guest. They moved us to another room. That room had bugs in the sink and crawling near the refrigerator and on one wall, had hair in the tub and between the toilet tank and seat, the toilet seat was loose and moved all over, the heating unit made a scraping noise. Expedia rated this hotel as 8.8 out of 10. Google rated it 2.5 out of 5. We feel that some amount of reimbursement is in order. We believe that we were misled!

Anyone giving this place good reviews must be a bot or an employee. We chose to stay here based on the reviews and were completely misled. The first red flag should’ve been the burnt-out sign light—everything went downhill from there. Within minutes of checking in, we saw multiple cockroach-like bugs crawling around both our room and our kids’ room. The sheets were visibly stained and clearly hadn’t been washed. The bathroom was beyond disgusting, with black mold growing in both the shower and on the ceiling. This place was filthy and completely unacceptable. Absolutely disgusting. DO NOT STAY HERE.
