The 1857

Collin called to confirm the day before my arrival and on arrival he was very welcoming and went out of his way to point out walking directions to downtown and the waterfront and said if I needed anything he would be there to help. This old building was in beautiful condition with local artists work showcased each month. The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed. The town is original with restaurants, shops, and a great place to walk around right outside the front door. I would definitely stay again,

Loved the cleanliness of our room and the staff were really courteous and helpful. The bed was comfortable and for our travel needs it was just fine. We stayed in room 104 and it did have a musty smell when entering the room, don’t know if it’s because of the age of the building but it was noticeable. Would stay there again if ever in the Paducah area.

Loved it!

Lovely place. Located in the very walkable historic downtown area of Paducah. Lots of restaurant options, coffee shop and a great bakery within a couple of hundred feet of the hotel. Our room was beautiful, clean and comfortable, if a bit quirky. The bath/shower area is 1/3 of the room, and this is the first time I have seen a chain mail shower curtain… Great place for solo or a couple, or even a couple with a dog. Maybe not so much for parents with 3 kids in tow. We loved it here.

Perfection in Paducah!

WOW! They have converted several old 3 story, high ceilinged buildings near the waterfront. The room design, decor and layout are amazing. We were looking for a room with a tub and they upgraded us. Incredible, especially for the price. Super quiet and a perfect location. We walked everywhere. Will definitely stay here every time we are in Paducah! Shout out to Michelle at the front desk she is great!!

Great stay

We stayed at the new wing of the hotel which was very comfortable. The mattress was memory foam. The hotel's location is super nice with restaurants, shops and the river nearby. Don't miss the national quilt museum. it is walking distance

Okay-ish

Overall, nice enough property. Room cleanliness was a bit of an issue with a dirty coffee pod machine and spider webs in the interior window sill. Was told the bar would be open until 10pm. Attempted to go to the bar at 8:30pm, and was told it was closed due to low turnout. With inconsistent hours, I'm sure the turnout is low. Lost my $75-$100 I would have spent.
