Convenient and nice place to stay
We were greeted warmly, Penny the owner drove us to pick up some groceries which we really appreciated. We like to sleep in and if we did not leave the room by 10, no one came to make it up later. The room was spacious and comfortable. Location was an easy walk to town. We found the pool not ideal. There was no railing to hold for stairs and steps were deep so challenging to get in and out. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this accommodation.

We were lucky to be upgraded to a more spacious room. Nice balcony although not private. Good facilities, good size shower. Lovely comfortable chairs to relax.

My stars! Our experience exceeded our highest expectations. We anticipated a late check in and Admiral's View Lodge emailed very clear instructions. The well-appointed room was a welcome relief after a long drive from Auckland: very comfortable bed, clean bathroom and well-stocked mini-kitchen. We had a full day planned and woke up well rested. The beach and restaurants are all within a short walk. We highly recommend the Admiral's View Lodge for anyone. The icing on the cake came when I inadvertently left a package in the closet - within hours I received notice from the staff and they facilitated shipping back to me. What a relief!
