Sucked. Bathroom was dirty. Carpet was filthy. Had to strip bed because it had a heating blanket with hard plastic tabs that dug into our backs. Location is 1km out of town and parking in town is time limited. Real hassle.

The unit was spotlessly clean. The large bedroom was separate from the living area with plenty of room There is a pleasant view from the deck. The motel is away from the hustle and bustle of the area, making it a very peaceful and pleasant place to stay while travelling and on holiday.

Location ok. The two rooms we stayed in had fold out beds for a couch. They had disgusting covers on them and everytime we sat down the base moved. The ovens did not work properly. The oven tray in our room was disgusting No cold water in our bathroom Mismatched cutlery Both rooms had used cloths and sponges in the kitchen The venetian blinds were filthy It needs a massive upgrade and deep clean

NEEDS URGENT ATTENTION

The room was advertised as deluxe but was very far from this. Cleanliness was obviously not a priority for this Motel. Also had ants everywhere including the fridge as the fridge door didn't shut. Kitchen cupboards were not clean. Dining chairs had stains on them. There was mould and swelling on the bathroom cupboards and felt like rotten floor under the vinal as you hoped out of the dirty shower. we left after one night of our 4 night booking

We were disappointed in our stay here - the units were very tired and dated with poor quality kitchen and bathroom facilities. The sofa futon in our unit was in a terrible condition. The bed in the bedroom lost a leg when I moved it to access electric point behind bed for phone charger. There were crickets jumping all over the bed when I went to bed. The taps were very dodgy to use. Outside the units the paths and gardens were in need of attention and the pool was very murky and needs attention. The gate into the pool area wasn’t shutting properly so I suspect it’s a health and safety issue. I really hope the owners can take more care to improve their investment.

Dreadful motel

The motel is in dreadful condition. Curtains hanging off rails, filthy couches. Condition of vanity in bathroom dreadful. I had been hoping to swim in pool but it was murky and tiles dirty so I didn’t risk it. The furniture around the pool was broken and really only fit for the tip. We also felt that some of the electrics weren’t safe.The only good thing was comfortable beds and good quality clean sheets and towels. I realise it was on the cheap side but as we booked late was all we could find, otherwise we would have been tempted to move. Very disappointing as I have used the Hotel.com site for years and have never ended up somewhere like this.

The rooms were spacious and I liked that they had a stove, oven and a microwave. There was also a patio. But the bed sheet had something I had to wipe off. There was construction being done on the pipes which made the water come out a white colour on the second day. I asked and the person said it was chlorine.

I was unable to get the shower to run hot and there was no plug in the bathroom sink to allow me to wash either. I was advised by staff that I had incorrectly set the shower control but this was contrary to how shower settings normally work. A sign with instructions for this would have been helpful. There was hot water in the kitchen and bathroom sinks though. The linoleum in the kitchen and bathroom areas was grubby and sticky. The pull out bed in the lounge that served as a sofa was dangerous as when I tried to get up out of it it tipped over.

The rooms are spacious and they have full kitchen facilities. That was great. The staff were pretty nice too. They were fixing the water pipes so the water coming out of the tap had a lot of chlorine.

The location was perfect. The pool and views were stunning. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The unit is outdated and the beds were uncomfortable in particularly the sleeper couch. Carpets need to be removed as old and dirty. Kitchen was neat but oven was dirty.

First and last visit

The photos of this place are very old. It does not look like this now. The freezer had not been cleaned prior to our arrival and it had what looked like a bloody plastic bag frozen to the bottom. A very strong fishy smell that stayed for our entire 3 nights. The faucets do not allow for mixing hot and cold water, so makes washing anything from dishes to hands challenging. The sofa's in the living room were stained and squeaked everytime you moved. There were forgotten socks from previous guests in the closet. The cabinetry in both kitchen and bathroom were very worn and abused. The fridge froze some our food and we had to dispose of it. There was also a burn on the counter near the microwave. We didn't even attempt to open the oven.

We did not get face cloths, kitchen cupboards had a strong well of dampness, plugs at bed level behind head of bed not very useful, only plug in the main area was broken and we had they only fan in the place that was running off it

Property conditions are pretty tired and due for upgrades of in room furniture and facilities. Unfortunately there was a problem with our apartment with a leak or damp kitchen cupboard which caused terrible smells in the old property. Property manager was responsive for a quick fix by providing an air filter. Luckily we were there for only a single night since there was no option to swap rooms and the summer season meant we could also keep all the windows open to continuously air the apartment.
