Cosy Cottage in Central Paihia

Cosy, homely, open-plan little cottage in central Paihia with cafe's, restaurants, supermarkets, bakery and Wharf all within a 5 minute walk.
Fully equipped kitchen and own bathroom with shower.
A Heatpump Air-conditioner ensures comfort throughout the year.
The large sunny courtyard is perfect for breakfast , lunch or a glass of wine in summer, and a gas BBQ is available for your use.

The Cottage is nestled behind the main house, with parking directly adjacent to it. The Cottage, parking and private courtyard is on a flat area at the top-of a slightly steep driveway. The drive way is very easily manageable on foot and good to get the circulation going - but the convenient parking makes it easy to drive if preferred.

The ideal base for visiting Waitangi Treaty Grounds (a 25 min walk or a 5min drive with plenty of parking at the Treaty Grounds) or exploring the Bay of Islands. Cape Reinga tour has a pick-up point at the drive-way; Most water activities & cruises depart from the Warf - a 5 min walk.

Check in is after 3PM and the key will be in the lockbox from 3pm.
Check out is anytime before 10am.
Under Kiwi bach tradition, guests are expected to respect the property, tidy up, do your dishes, remove rubbish & recycling to outdoor bins, and leave the property in the clean and tidy condition they found it.

From the cottage to the host we could not have asked for anything better.The owner goes out of her way to ensure that your stay is great. Perfect location

We parked right next to our accommodation and then walked everywhere we needed to go. Super easy! The stand alone cabin had everything we needed and we enjoyed the patio for morning coffee, too. Definitely recommend.

Everything we needed

the cozy cottage lived up to its name and was everything we needed for a 2 night stay in Paihia. lovely pictures and historic photos of Paihia. Easy walking distance to the shops even in heavy wind and rain. Really enjoyed listening to the birds in the morning and raindrops on the roof. Will be back in summer so we can wander down to the beach!

Great Little Cottage

A lovely little cottage for our stay. Ideally located to walk into town. Basically ten minutes to all the shops, bars, restaurants etc. Friendly hosts Would highly recommend it to my family and friends.

comfortable and character.

clean, tidy, comfortable and warm ,once the heat pump did it's good job .I did find the cottage rather dark. but it certainly has some character .Very central, so able to walk to Treaty grounds as well as up the road for nice bush walk and views.My sinuses were not compatable with the jasmine growing outside .Pretty but unhelpful

Bay of Islands Ideal Stay

The cottage, location, and host were all perfect. This is a SUPERB Paihia Place to stay. Close to everything (walkable) but just up the street far enough to be very quiet and restful after a day exploring.

Great character location in Paihia

Lovely little cottage full of character. Very quiet but centrally located. Also nice and warm with the heater in May, and probably the most comfortable bed I've slept in apart from my own! Will definitely be looking to book here again the next time we come. Recommended.

Perfect place in Paihia

We didn’t want to leave this lovely cottage! Peaceful and comfortable. We especially enjoyed nodding off to the calls of the morepork at night and waking up to the birdsong. The courtyard was wonderfully sunny. Thanks again Rob and Corrine. We hope to be back.
