Charming Recently Remodeled Home with River Views and Modern Amenities

This delightful and spacious two-bedroom, two-bath home is nestled in the peaceful Tidewater Oaks subdivision, right on the scenic Tres Palacios River. The property features a spacious picnic area, a two-car concrete parking space, and an elevated deck that offers stunning river views. Steps from the deck lead down to a private fishing platform, perfect for enjoying the serene surroundings or fishing.

Inside, the home boasts an open concept fully equipped kitchen and living room with a 55" smart tv with Roku. A separate seating/dining room features a panoramic view of the river. The laundry room comes with a washer and dryer for added convenience. The master bedroom offers a comfortable queen-size bed, while the second bedroom is furnished with both a queen bed and a twin bed, ensuring plenty of space for guests.

For boating enthusiasts, a community boat ramp is conveniently located nearby, with additional public boat ramps and fishing areas available in Palacios, which also features several public, lighted fishing piers.

The Tres Palacios River is ideal for fishing, kayaking, and small motorboats, and it flows directly into the Tres Palacios Bay, eventually leading to the Gulf of Mexico. Fishing charters are also available in Palacios.

This property is centrally located near several towns: Blessing (5 miles), Palacios (13 miles), and Bay City (20 miles). For a beach day, Matagorda Beach is just 36 miles away, and Sargent Beach is 50 miles away.

The house comes equipped with central air conditioning and heating, high-speed fiber Internet, and Wi-Fi. Please note that this is a non-smoking and no pets property.

We offer special rates for weekly and monthly stays. The home is conveniently close to the STP nuclear power plant (less than 30 minutes away) and the new HIF Global e-fuel construction project.

We've added a security camera that views the concrete parking pad. We've never experienced any security issues, past or present, but we think this will add a little piece of mind.

Work Trip

The property was perfect for three men to relax after hard, hot days on the field. I plan on bringing my family back for some rest and fishing.

Our stay

The house was very clean and just like the pictures. Easy to find. Short drive to Palacio where we bought groceries for our stay. Little bit of a drive to Matagorda to visit the beach and bay fishing. The private fishing dock was nice for evening fishing and my husband did catch a few fish. Overall great time and we will definitely be back!!

Our great escape vacation.

Once again we made a trip to stay at the “yellow house on the river”. We live in the country and do not like crowds or noise. Going on vacation has always been a challenge but not here. It is so quiet and peaceful. We love sitting on the fishing deck and relaxing. Plus fishing is always a bonus. We caught a variety of fish. The house is roomy and clean. I love the dining area that overlooks the river. Another bonus is that you can travel a short distance to get to the beach, shopping store, or restaurants. We enjoyed Palacios, port Lavaca, and Love Matagorda. But the best was still right in the backyard of this vacation house. Any time we had a question or concern, the owner was quick to respond. I hope to make many trips back here. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Great escape and perfect location

We enjoyed the fact that the area was quiet and we were able to fish from the property. The house was clean and roomy with lots of amenities. When we wanted to pick up groceries or go to the beach it was just a short drive less than 30 minutes. We will be returning for vacation here soon. Loved ever bit of it.

Nice Quiet Place to relax!

Quiet neighborhood with a nice fishing dock in the back. Host is nice and quick to respond if you have any questions. It was great having washer/dryer on property. Definitely recommend!
