CASA DEL MAR 50m from the beach

Detached house just 50 m from one of the most charming coves in the heart of the Costa Brava, renovated a few years ago. Ideal families, couples, friends, with and without children because of its proximity to the beach and the center of town. It is close to towns such as Begur, Llafranch and Calella de Palafrugell. The house gives access to 2 streets, the 2 are without exit and with little volume of people with which the tranquility is evident everything and be in the center, highlight the garage with capacity for 2 cars (one large and one small). One of the strong points is its terrace with more than 70m2 in which you will enjoy barbecue, pool of 2'3mx1,5mx1,10m (length / width / depth). Sunny and well ventilated house with air conditioning in 2 of the 3 bedrooms of the house. Very close to the area of bars, restaurants, supermarket, bus stop, etc. At less than 500 meters we find the way of round by which you can enjoy walks and discover different coves in the area.

Great location, amazing host

Our family had a blast! The house is well appointed and perfectly situated just steps from a beautiful beach. It was a great base for day trips to places like Girona and Figueres. Plenty of great bars and places to eat while enjoying the sea view. Xevi was an amazing host. He was always going above and beyond to make sure my family was comfortable and had a great vacation! We are already planning a return trip for next summer. Great house, great location, and Xevi is a great host!

Fantasic house with fabulous rooftop sundeck in very pretty Tamariu!

We had a wonderful week in pretty Tamariu. We absolutely loved Xevi’s fantastic house, which has been beautifully designed and renovated, is very spacious and very clean and is just as nice as the photos. The beach is at the end of the road, along with restaurants and supermarkets. The living room floor has a fantastic open plan living, dining and kitchen space with everything you could need. We loved and spent a lot of time on the fabulous roof top sundeck with the plunge pool, dining area and sun beds. You can join and walk part of the Cami de Ronda trail from Tamariu to some pretty coves. The local towns can be quite busy and parking can be difficult, so being right in Tamariu itself was great, we used the tourist bus which runs from the end of the road and does a circular route to towns including Llafranc and Callella de Palafrugell, the views from the bus are just fantastic and you don’t have to drive or find a parking space. Therefore having the integral garage in the house is a real benefit, there was no problem getting our car in. Xevi is really lovely and very helpful and has put other helpful items in the house like a kayak, paddleboards, beach umbrellas and snorkels etc, little things that are really helpful that you can’t bring with you on the plane. The Wifi was really good even on the roof top area, and there is a smart TV in the living area, perfect for our teenager. Thank you Xevi, we loved staying at your house, we would definitely stay here again.

Boutique house with world class host

We cannot speak more highly of Xevi and this beautiful home. His A* hosting skills started from the minute we booked our trip - he couldn’t be more accommodating of our 18 month old or helping us navigate covid related travel questions even while we were in the UK. The house itself feels like a boutique hotel and you are minutes from the beach. The paddleboard and kayak were a lovely touch and fun to use. This is a home away from home in a beautiful part of the world. Book now!

Xevi nos ha atendido de maravilla y ha sido muy obsequioso. La casa estĂĄ muy equipada y ha cumplido totalmente nuestras expectativas. EstĂĄ decorada con muy buen gusto y ofrece muchas posibilidades. Magical house close to the beach

Xavier is an excellent host and greeted us on arrival explaining everything about the beautiful house. Location is less than a 2 minute walk from beach, restaurants and spar. Great rooftop terrace with plunge pool, relaxing sun beds and dining area with view over town. Would highly recommended and hope to return.

The property is lovely and the photos are a true reflection of the quality of the accommodation. Xavier has put his heart and soul into renovating the house which was formerly owned by his grandmother. His is rightly proud of what he has achieved and he went out of his way to make sure our stay was perfect. A nice welcome pack and the fridge was stacked with beer and a bottle of Cava. Will definitely go back if/ when I go back to Tamariu.

Modernes Haus in unmittelbarer StrandnÀhe

Wir haben den Urlaub in Tamariu sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt in unmittelbarer NĂ€he zum Strand und ist bestens ausgestattet. Es gab viele kleine Details, mit denen Xavier uns beeindruckt hat (KĂŒhlschrank mit ErfrischungsgetrĂ€nken, Wein und Bier befĂŒllt, Hygienartikel fĂŒr's Bad, Holzkohle fĂŒr den Grill etc.). Das Haus verfĂŒgt ĂŒber eine coole Dachterrasse, Klimaanlage und eine modern ausgestattete KĂŒche. Kleiner Minuspunkt: die RĂ€umlichkeiten des Hauses sind auf drei Ebenen verteilt, d.h. Treppen rauf und runter. Der Strand von Tamariu ist im Hochsommer stark frequentiert und zu bestimmten Tageszeiten wird es richtig eng. Das Meerwasser ist glasklar und der Strand besteht zum Großteil aus einem sehr grobkörnigen Sand. Direkt am Strand befinden sich mehrere Restaurants die am Abend zum Essen und Verweilen einladen. Was man in Tamariu nicht findet (und manche vielleicht auch nicht suchen) sind lange Shoppingstraßen, ein ausgiebiges Nachtleben oder irgendwelche FreizeitaktivitĂ€ten mit Adrenalinfaktor.

Wonderful house in a brilliant location

The house is as wonderful and immaculate as it appears in the photos - but they still don't quite do it justice. It had everything we needed for our stay and Xevi could not have been more helpful. The real bonus is the location - it is literally 2 mins from the beach and restaurants and there is a great little Spar that sells a wide range of food and drink less than a minute away, at the other end of the street. We absolutely made the most of the location, hardly using the car. If you don't know Tamariu, you will not be disappointed - it's the very best of the Costa Brava - amazing food, very affordable wine, scuba and snorkelling all right there. A real bonus for us this year was the Costa Brava costal path, which we explored most mornings, finding hidden coves with crystal clear water. We are already planning our return!
