So close to perfect!
This home is in a perfect location. The only reason that I can’t give it all 5 stars is because there were too many details should have been checked and weren’t. TVs that were unplugged, light bulbs needing to be replaced, filter in refrigerator needing to be replaced and a smoke detector that was beeping because it needed a battery. I think the owner should have let us know that one of the sliding doors outer panels of glass was shattered and not replaced. We were never able to get internet in the casita to work. But the home itself is fabulous. It’s so close to being the perfect spot, but attention to detail is so important. Most importantly, there was no binder welcoming us, giving us instructions on everything house related and tips on things to do, neighborhood finds,etc. again, more attention to detail and this is a FIVE STAR property for sure!!

Close to perfection, but too many details missed
I'm going to start this review by saying that this house is gorgeous inside out and the location is absolutely ideal (2 minute walk to El Paseo). As an established vacation host myself, I couldn't give it a four or five star review because of too many small details that were not taken care of. First, we booked the place with another family and were initially told that the office and casita living room had pull-out couches which was not the case. The property manager had told us that air mattresses would be available (but we understood these to be a backup plan to the pull-out). When we arrived, the air mattress had been delivered by Amazon along with linens and pillows for the beds. We had to wash those ourselves on the 1st night we arrived and setup the air mattress for kids. If you book this property, note that it only sleeps 6 in king beds. The property was also not very clean (the kitchen cupboards that had food left in there and had not been cleaned after the previous guests left and the outdoors area had stained table/sofa). We had to clean all the dishes before first use. There was also only tiny amounts of toiletries left in each of the bathrooms (half- empty travel size shampoo). Like previous guests, we also never managed to get the Casita internet to work (despite following instructions provided). Overall, we had an amazing stay with our friends, but we feel like the property could have been better maintained. We hope it will change for future guests.

House is awesome. So close to restaurants and shopping. We walked everywhere. Awesome pool and house; we loved it all. Our host (Monica) accommodated us in every way possible even having some items shipped next day! Would absolutely stay again.

Great property and experience
Overall the property and experience of our stay was great. Included was plenty of extra supplies (toilet paper, towels, laundry detergent, shampoo and body wash, etc) and the house was well stocked with kitchen equipment, pool and bathroom towels, etc. We had a great time and would recommend the property. Our only main critique was that it was a surprise to us how expensive pool-heating would be as an extra charge of $125-$150 PER DAY depending on if you prepaid or not. That was significantly more than expected and this was not made clear up front, therefore we are giving 4 stars instead of 5.

Spring Break with friends then family
It started as a ladies tennis trip and worked out really well with 2 BR in the house and one in the casita - all KING beds. After a few days when the ladies left, my family came down for spring break. The Casita was great for my teenage daughter and her friend to hang out in the evenings and was an easy walk to shops and cafes for them to be independent during the day. The house was very comfortable and has a relaxing vibe. We hope to return next March!
