Big cockroach found in shower. Don't let the online pics fool you. The bottom inside toilet was stained brown from not scrubbing properly. Closet sliding doors didn't work properly and runners were really dirty. Corners and crevices weren't cleaned well. Felt like I needed to check for bed bugs and in doing so found that the mattress looked utterly disgusting, stained and dirty. Slider didn't lock, had to use piece of wood in runner to secure. Temp of shower was all over the place, would change from warm to cold to scalding every minute so couldn't have a decent shower. Light in bathroom is on a timer and shut off on me which left me in the dark in the shower. Most of the washcloths they gave looked like microfiber dust cloths. Dishwasher was disgusting inside. The plus side was having a kitchen but it needed to be better stocked, no measuring cups or spoons, no colander, no spatula, no ladle, no corkscrew, only one wine glass. Another plus was the big room and great mini-split air conditioner. Jacuzzi shut off at 9pm and the concrete around it needs sandblasted and re-coated, big areas where coating peeled off. Also need to supply pool towels, had to use our bathroom towels and had to ask for more towels for our shower. The place looked like a do-it-yourself job. Only some things were updated and not done very well at that. Shower's still the old pink tile, shower handle and drain look nasty. The place has the potential to be really nice if remodeled properly.

Calls all go to VM and then they text you which is convenient except when your driving or need and answer quickly. There is no registration desk or area or building. So I was lost for 10 min trying to figure out where the poles were from the message in my texts. Final got into my room and it was ok. I had a bed (that had the two concave from all the previous bodies that slept there, the bathroom toilet and shower were old and worn (not renovated), my door was broken and had to figure out how to get the lock from getting stuck in the metal cover. The kitchen has a broken drawer, and the refrigerator was not clean. There is one wall that’s all glass facing the courtyard and the curtain doesn’t cover all of the light coming in so there that all night long.i all these issues and I spent way too much money to stay here - complete price gauge. t was such a disappointing stay. The picture is NOT the too You’ll get so be aware that most rooms seem to be not or partially renovated. Really terrible!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this property in two rooms with excellent service from David and Jario. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Parking is right in front of the rooms with plenty of spaces. Check-in was done remotely, and even though I had some concerns, they were unfounded, and there were no issues. I will be staying here again in the future I highly recommend this property.

This property is conveniently located close to Indian Wells Tennis Garden. This was our primary reason for staying here. The manager of the property is very responsive and accommodating. Upon arrival at our room, there was a very pronounced smell of disinfectant. Although the sheets and towels were clean, they were not of high-quality. The room seemed dirty, there were sticky counters, and the floors also needed to be mopped. The furniture is not comfortable. There were no suitcase stands so we had to use the floor. The shower is old and the showerhead leaks. Limited dishes and no dishwasher. Dirty sponge and no dish rack for washing up. There is a sliding glass door to the patio. The door is secured using a broom handle in the track. The lock is broken. The door does not slide easily open. The code we were given for the front door was close to our room number which also did not feel safe. We did not leave our computers or electronic devices in the room during the day and instead kept them in the trunk of our car, which felt safer. I will not stay here again, and I felt that the Expedia rating system and review of this property system overstated the quality of this property. We checked out 1 night early.

Worth the price

This was an affordable room compared to other PS accommodations. It was clean upon entry. The bathroom and shower were great. The TV has an Amazon fire stick that works. The TV is small but functional. The bed was uncomfortable and pillows were cheap. It felt like they were made of crate paper. That’s my only complaint. It was well worth the price.

Bait and switch. Our room was not at all like the one pictured in your app. Door deadbolt did not work, sliding glass door latch did not work it had a wood dowel that did not fit in slot to lock door. Pine sol smell was overpowering. No flooring just sealed bare concrete and a filthy rug. We only stayed one night and left for other accommodations with no refund for the other two nights.

Kim and employees were very good but our unit was old not really that clean and needed some supplies! No real utensils to cook or prepare. Small frig and no ice until last day! In all fairness we were there to watch tennis at Indian Wells but I would not stay again! I think we got an inferior room because I went through Expedia! Maybe booking directly would have gotten us a better room. Location is good!

Not bad but interesting

Palm Desert Suites was an interesting stay. My husband and I stayed last week for two nights while visiting palm desert. Upon arrival, there was no front desk or check in. We called a number and left a message in about 5-7 minutes, the owner came to our car and checked showed us our room/gave us our one key. She was very nice and helpful. She walked into our room with us and looked if we had towels, we did not and stated that they would be there in 15 minutes. We did not see the worker after about 30 minutes and had to leave to our engagement. The next day, we left in the morning and came back in the evening. When we came back, our room had been entered, there were towels left and the bed was striped and made. This was strange simply because they were in our room without our knowledge with our stuff present. The bathroom shower was very dirty and there was a used bar of soap in the shower. There was no shampoo, condition or body soap provided. Overall, if I had to stay here again, I would but I would not necessarily recommend it either.

Lies, lies, lies

My family and I decided to stay at Palm Desert Suites based on the reviews from Hotels.com. The check in process was very different than anything we have experienced before. We received a text message letting us know our room would be ready after 4pm. We arrived and followed the instructions to park by the flagpole. Weird, do they not have a loddy? A lady came up to our car, which freaked out my wife and daughter. It was a long day so after inspecting the room (E33), we tried to watch TV and relax. After looking around we noticed a lot of things inconsistent and wrong with the room. Trying to make the best of it we went to bed and we woke the next day and my wife’s back was killing her. We notified the property that we wouldn’t be staying the 2nd night, see pics of the texts messages back and forth with the property. No refund has been issued and hotels.com wasn’t much of a help either. No refund has been issued, this property does not keep their word.

This property was really misrepresented. It’s a full bed, which is very small for two people. There is no bathmat. The furniture is minimal. It has one pillow for two people. Television is very small. No lotion or amenities in the bathroom. One small bar of soap.

There were zero trash receptacles. The Mini Split made a terrible noise. The curtains were not wide enough for the window size, The microwave didn’t work. The door to the bathroom was hung incorrectly so that when you opened the door, the door knob hit the step-down walk-in shower door. There was no sink stopper in one of the two vanity sinks. The second vanity sink’s sink-stopper was full of hair and crud. It was disgusting. The smoke detector’s light was so bright we had to cover it with a shirt. The standard sized refrigerator was installed flush against a wall on the left side and cabinetry and the stove on the right side. with the doors opening from the left. The shower wasn’t clean. The sheets were colonist fabric and had quite obviously just come out of the package due to all the fold lines still visible. There were two pillows, one in a pillowcase, the other in a sham with no pillowcase.

Room def needs to be upgraded. Whoever did the work on the hotel did a horrible job. Then to top it off I saw cockroaches in the bathroom on the day we left. The lady that checked me in was very nice but then there was some maintence guy there the next day yelling at her outside our room. I say pay a little extra and stay somewhere else.

Honestly the stay was great! The only complaints I have are, I was not aware that there wasn't going to be soap/shampoo in the showers. That's on me, I just went to Albertsons nearby in the morning and grabbed what I needed - no big deal. The other thing was the water temperature in the shower fluctuated like crazy. It'd go from being almost too cold to way too hot every 30 seconds. But other than that the room was very nice and clean, couldn't have asked for much more.
