Designed by modernist architect Jack Meiselman and built in 1960, this home has been impressively preserved and thoughtfully updated, offering post-and-beam construction, tongue-and-groove ceilings, sculpted concrete, and walls of glass that connect you to the private pool and spa. Enjoy such special details as citrus trees that bear fruit in season, a great room with Sonos surround sound and iPad controls, and a uniquely Meiselman configuration of bedrooms on either side of the house - all with sweeping views of the San Jacinto Mountains.

WHAT'S NEARBY
This home is conveniently located between downtown Palm Springs (a mile and a half west) and Palm Springs International Airport (one mile east), ensuring ease of travel no matter what you choose to do. Allow yourself plenty of time to explore Palm Canyon Drive, the main downtown strip that's known for its excellent restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, theaters, and various forms of nightlife. Bring along your clubs and make a tee time at one of the countless world-class golf courses in the area, or take a ride up the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway (eight miles west) for a commanding view of the desert.

The house is amazing the property management was terrible
The house is beautiful and I would stay again if it was run by a different property management company. The property management company does not pick up the phone. Ever. I probably called 10 times trying to confirm the pool would be heated. I made the request one day prior per the listing. I spent the next 12 hours arguing with agents over text that I did not fulfill the request 48 hours prior even though the listing states 24 hours prior to check in. I called many many times with no one ever answering. At one point I was on hold 90 minutes and fell asleep still on hold. If I had an actual emergency, there would have been a problem. I finally got the heating after I screen shot the listing saying 24 hours and after they denied my request twice. Also, the dishwasher did not adequately clean dishes. But the house itself is gorgeous.

This immaculate and beautifully curated post modern has everything one or two couples could want for an amazing weekend or longer stay. We really didn’t want to leave and hope to return for a longer stay.

Wonderful Palm Springs Mid-Century Home
This house is in an excellent location in Palm Springs and one of the nicest in the neighborhood. It is near the airport, but noise was not a problem. The pool and hot tub were well-maintained and very private. We were amazed at the beautiful furnishings and art in the home, well above what we normally encounter in vacation rentals. The kitchen was very well equipped. We found the Vacasa team to be very responsive and able to resolve the few problems we had (like locking ourselves out) quickly to our satisfaction. We have recommended this home to our friends and hope to rent again in the future.

Beautiful home inside & out. Wonderful artwork, architecture, & lots of cool books. It's snug but just right for a couple. Be prepared to park outside. Pool & spa were lovely too.

Beautiful House Watch Out for the Fees
This was a beautiful house. The pool and patio really do look like something from a travel magazine. The house was tastefully decorated, comfortable, well laid out, everything in good working order. However, after all of the fees, the rental cost 2.5x the listing price. I understand that taxes and extras add to the cost of a rental, but this was a complete budget busting outrage. Also, the owners nickel and dimed us for everything... Want a working hot tub, that'll be extra. I would definitely stay again if it weren't for all of the fees. As it stands, I won't be coming back or ever renting anything from vacation palm springs.
