Amazing House in great neighborhood

Really enjoyed our time at this property. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and had very comfortable beds! We spent most of our time in the pool and hot tub!

Property was beautiful and well equipped. Plenty of towels and dishes etc very well equipped. Only concern for warmer months was that the two bedrooms on the west side of the house were difficult to keep cool. Quiet neighborhood and beautiful views with an ideal location.

Fantastic Family Trip

This property is exactly as listed. The photos are very accurate. The kitchen and house was well stocked with everything you would need for a sun-seeking vacation. From refrigerator ice machine, smoothie maker, good knives for cooking and plenty of dinnerware and cutlery. And lots of towels for swimming and lounging.

Amazing Property!

The house was nicely decorated and stocked with quality items and basics for our stay. The attention to detail was noticed and appreciated. The pool, where we spent the majority of our time, was clean and perfect for our group. The grill was clean and ready for use. There was a very thorough instruction manual with every bit of information needed during our stay. Highly recommend!

Clean, comfortable, convenient

We found the Stardust to be well-equipped and extremely clean. The pictures match the property, it is a very nice pool area. Our pool had an error and was not heated. They sent someone to fix it immediately and worked with us on the charges as the pool did not end up being warm until our last day. There was a beeping that lasted all day and night that we couldn’t find the source of. They also helped us look for the source and changed all the batteries in the smoke detectors, just in case. Overall, great house!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I can't say enough good things about 'Stardust', myself, boyfriend and dog Apollo had the most amazing stay, 5 stars all the way, clean and beautifully kept. We are 100% coming back. The only one thing I would change was to rid of the spikey plant that is next to the sunbeds it's very dangerous and we had to put a bathmat around it to stop our dog getting hurt. Please remove it's an accident waiting to happen. Otherwise PERFECTION!! Also, if the owner ever wants to sell, please let me know! :)

Retro/Amenities Need Improvement

The house is as advertised, retro. The pool area is wonderful. We decided to extend our stay shortly after check-in because we love Palm Springs but shortly after that we experienced problems with amenities. The wireless was weak and then stopped working completely. We had to wait 2 days for the cable company and after 2 visit they rewired the connection from the utility pole as damage had occurred. However, the modem was not replaced and we knew it was partly the problem as it was over 5 years old. The wireless continued to fail until we checked out. The tvs cut in and out due to the poor wireless system. Wireless is a key amenity for everyone who needs access to email and the ability to handle some work while traveling. The hot tub was also not useable. It was filled with sediment and dirty. Someone came over and cleaned it about half way through our trip but it was still dirty the next day which was confirmed by the pool cleaner. We were never able to use it. Perhaps there is a system problem but that should have been handled before we checked-in. Also, we found out that the golf course across the street is now dead and there are a pack of cayotes roaming the neighborhood at night. We also had 2 days of loud work going on on both sides of the house. Needless to say between all the maintenance work, it cut into a relaxing vacation.

Excellent Family Getaway

We stayed at House of Stardust for our kid’s spring break. The house location across from the golf course was ideal for morning walks and to the coffee shops. Only minutes from downtown, but we rarely left the house. We spent all of our time in the pool and lounging poolside. I highly recommend this house and look forward to staying again. Acme was very responsive and helpful during our stay!

Stay here - fantastic Palm Springs mid-century modern home!

This home is beautiful and spacious, with a lovely pool and outdoor area. The house is really well decorated, in a mid century modern style mixed with cool art and lighting. I chose it specifically because the decor looked curated, fun, and interesting - not like so many rental homes that are decorated straight out of Home Goods. It has a truly gorgeous location, the view out the front door is stunning! The kitchen and baths are all well stocked with quality equipment, and the beds and bedding are pristine and more important, very comfortable. The management company was friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back to this house!

Beautiful

We were happy with this place! The only small bit of alteration I would make is having black out shades in the bedrooms. Early morning light coming in when you're on vacation trying to sleep in is a bit of a bummer. Also, zero shelves or drawers to put your clothes in. Some baskets in a closet, but it was difficult living out of a suitcase. Other than that, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and the pool was perfect!

Gorgeous home and views!

Great house, great backyard, fantastic pool. The decor is very chic. The beds are all the same and very comfortable for everyone. Mountain View’s and golf course in the front. Quiet area, quiet neighborhood, very good for families or people looking to relax. The only hiccup is the amount of E-mails and check in instructions. Granted the town of Palm Springs is very strict. ACME hired a concierge company to assist with the check in. There was a very unprofessional incident with the concierge service. ACME did resolve it quickly and fixed the situation. A separate review for that concierge company was left on Yelp. This is a fantastic property and a great relaxing place to hang out and enjoy the desert lifestyle!

Beautiful, clean property located across from a golf course on a quiet street. Kitchen is fully-stocked kitchen, beds are comfortable, and the back yard is beautiful. The large, walk-in pool provided a great escape from the heat. Would definitely rebook this property.

Sparking clean, well stocked in terms of linens, hangers, kitchenware, laundry needs including a basket in each room for soiled clothes, and wide array of outdoor living items. We love the indoor/outdoor lifestyle and this home absolutely caters to that. The pool is very large, clean and felt perfect at their 85-degree heated recommendation. There are lounge chairs on both sides so you can easily relocate from morning sun to afternoon sun (or hide from it under one of the various umbrellas). Great lawn for the kids to run around. Totally private. Comfortable beds. Reliable WiFi for multiple video users. Less than 10 minute drive to downtown or flat sidewalks to bike there. I would have booked this again for spring break but it was already booked out. If you are considering this property, book it now!

Great location and pool. Comfy beds and rooms. Good customer service, but when we arrived, the entry code we were given didn't work, which left us locked outside in 111 Palm Springs heat for about 25 mins. Also, all the floors of the house were dirty.
