Nice Getaway with Horse Accommodations

Nice, roomy, clean & close to other venues. The onsite caretaker jumped through hoops to accommodate us. Sadly we are the last renters, as the place is now up for sale.

Great holiday get away!!!

We were able to bring our family of 8 and our dogs and horses. It was the best Christmas trip yet! The owner is very nice and the foreman was quick to help with anything we needed. I highly recommend this place!

Hidden Gem

This ranch is a must stay if you like seclusion and wildlife. Very clean and spacious with plenty of room to spread out. Beautiful property to explore. The home has everything you need. We hope to visit again soon.

Weekend adventure

Could have been a lot nicer but the place was trashed. Upstairs master bedroom was missing light fixtures in bathroom. Looks like nothing has been updated since the 70’s. The outdoor area that is in the original picture looks like a tornado hit it. Not just dust but dirt on everything chairs couches overturned cushions on the ground ceiling fans hanging down couldn’t sit on couches outside because they were so dirty. Had read some reviews that said it would be nicer if they used a little spit and polish but this was ridiculous. I think they changed me a cleaning fee that they should’ve given to my wife for cleaning as much as she had to. Loved the location and the place is for sale but there hasn’t been any maintenance done on the property for years and it really shows.

Great place to hang with friends ... but...

Let’s just say, the photography for this home is very creative. I don’t believe it states anywhere that this home IS NOT handicap accessible. Even on the main lower floor there are 3 steps to the bedroom to the living area to the patio. Most lighting in the house does not work. Only a lamp on the vanity in upstairs bathroom makes for a VERY dark shower. Surfaces in two showers are extremely slick. Even knowing there were 8 adults for two days there were only 6 towels and washcloths in place. No hand towels in the bathrooms. Need more clean dish towels in kitchen. We are a pretty easygoing group of people so we made the lemonade and had a very fun weekend . This is a wonderful property to hang out on. Secluded and acres to roam on. Actually caught fish! The back patio is just wonderful! The light switch to the patio is like a well kept secret. It would be highly recommended if the host would leave a set of instructions written out so people can navigate the nuances of the home.

A real country experience!

If you want a nice country experience with a group of family or friends you will enjoy this property immensely. The home is spacious and the surrounding nature is beautiful! The house and outdoor areas really did accommodate our group well. If you are one that has high standards, and expecting pristine cleanliness or welcoming perks and updated decor you may not appreciate this property as much. Little things like having coffee in the morning, not having piles of trash left on the back porch and a good spit shine inside and out this place could be absolutely magical. The host was very communicative and provided quick responses. Overall we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the large space to accommodate our family and pups!
