I stayed at Hotel Maisonnave for San Fermin on Sunday night so that I could participate in running of the bulls on Monday morning. The hotel was more than excellent. I took a taxi from the train station. The hotel is located directly downtown so that driver had to drop me only a block away. Very easy to find. Taxi cost maybe 6 euros. Once I arrived at the hotel it there was a HUGE party going on outside with dancing, singing, and a band. It was so awesome to experience. I arrive way before check in time but the hotel was able to let me in my room early. Front desk was extremely helpful to tell me how to get to everything and what was going on. They even had a red bandanna on my bed. This hotel is central to EVERYTHING. You can walk to Estafada street (where the bulls run) which is around 10 minute easy walk. The next day I was able to store my luggage while I walked around until my train ride. I would highly recommend this hotel. I cannot say enough good things about it.
