The house was beautiful and the location is as close to perfect as you can get. The wildlife and scenery was beyond beautiful and fishing at the pier was very successful. We even got tobsee a manatee!
A simple cabin with good privacy, well appointed for basic needs. We were there fishing and just needed a place to sleep and this was a great spot to come back to each day after getting off the water. Itâs small, simple, clean and comfortable. Iâd definitely stay again if we come back.
We had a great stay in St Theresa. The beach house was perfect for our family of four. The owners were very great in communicating with us the whole time. Any questions or requests were answered quickly and efficiently. The owners were great about letting us use the beach supplies already at the house. We thought the walk to the beach was very easy, the road to get there is shaded with trees and it didnât take long at all. My husband enjoyed fishing off the pier, and everyone we met on the beach and neighboring houses were so nice and polite. All in all I give it a 10 out of 10.
This is a really cool house - a geodesic dome. It has everything you need to enjoy the beach - towels, chairs, boogie boards. And just a short walk. If you want to be on the beach you pay 2-3 times as much. This was the next best thing at a very reasonable price. It was perfect for our family to relax and spend time together. The beach is also fantastic - not very busy, warm water, and never very rough. I highly recommend this property.
the house was nice clean and had everything u would need. For me it was a little of a walk with beach gear for someone with a weak knee. We did get fussed at my other resident because we drove up to drop of beach items at walk way to beach. We did not park there just dropping things off. otherwise great trip!
This geodesic home has a really really great location - Saint Terese Beach. The neighborhood is family oriented, quiet, and full of charm. The gulf is visible from the screened porch, and the beach itself is a short walk away.
Checking in was a cinch, and our hosts made us very welcome.
Our first impression as we drove through the woods on the dirt road was, âThis is perfect!â Then we got to the house! It is like a cabin on stilts! Everything we needed and more was furnished. The yard is very private yet close to the beach. We loved the remoteness and being surrounded by nature! We visited Alligator Point and St. George, but St. Teresa beach was our favorite. This was one of the most relaxing vacations weâve ever had and we canât wait to go back!
Absolutely loved the house! Lots of natural light and open space. Enjoyed morning coffee out on the pier and the screened in porch.... Surrounded by nature in a quiet area.... We look forward to visiting again!
The owner of this property has definitely stayed at rental homes through out the years. Every small detail that you wished a home had they have taken care of. You donât have to bring towels, linens, beach gear, paper towels, toilet paper etc. they keep it all stocked for you. Anyone who has been on these vacations know how quickly these items add up cost and space wise, so itâs great to not have to worry about these things. The owner is easy to communicate with if you have any needs or questions. But a detailed binder at the home explains everything you need to know. The home sits back amongst a beautiful tree canopy, the nights are quiet and relaxing. They have smart TVs throughout the home if thatâs your thing, that comes preloaded and signed into all the apps already so you or your children can quickly watch their favorite programs. But the true star of the home is St. Teresa beach, if your looking for a a quiet private beach to just waddle in the water and catch some rays then this is the place for you.
Cannot recommend this place enough! Owners are local folks. Daren Headrick does a great job and could not have been more accommodating, and their second home is like going home! Kinda of glad my usual places weren't available this year!!!
We had a wonderful stay during our family vacation. Daren left great instructions for everything and checked in on us to make sure everything was ok. Loved the rural location of this house and the ease at which we were able to access a completely uncrowned beach. We had so much fun fishing off the dock and exploring all of the sea creatures that were so abundant on the beach. It was also so nice to have use of the wagon to cart all of our things to the beach. The house was nicely stocked with essentials and our teenagers enjoyed having their own space. Thanks for the fantastic stay!
We had a great vacation here! We enjoyed sitting on the front screened in porch looking out at the ocean every night. The house was a good size for our family of 4. The recent upgrades were apparent. The private community beach and dock were great! We were the only people out there the majority of our time there. The owners have beach towels, a waggon, beach chairs and sand toys to borrow while you are there. It was about an 8 minute walk to the beach using the neighborhood access. The owners were easy to reach and were so very easy to work with- great communication! We would love to come back to stay again.
We loved our stay in this St. Teresa 'Dome Cottage.' The owner was very responsive, helpful and accommodating. He was flexible with our schedule and quick to respond to any questions I had. The setting is beautiful and access to the beach is a very quick walk down lovely, sandy road. The beach is not very populated and beautiful. We had a great time!
The property was accurately described in the listing and photos. It has more of a rustic cabin feel which the price adequately reflects. The owner was very responsive and engaged with us during our stay. There is a view of the ocean from the screened porch which is nice. The property and area is also surrounded by gorgeous Georgia pines adding to the woodsy feel of the place. The beach access is a bit of a walk down the dirt/sand street (the roads in the community are not paved), but the beach is quiet and lovely.
