We love this part of Florida, and still have family in the area. There is nothing like a peaceful morning run on the beach as the chairs and umbrellas are quietly being set up, followed by breakfast on the balcony watching the dolphins cruise by. When our kids were young, they loved building sandcastles in the afternoon while we adults alternated between sun-bathing and playing with them in the waves. The luxury of an evening stroll along the beach as the sun sets in amazing hues of orange and pink over the emerald waters can't be fathomed until seen. And, don't forget your flashlight for night time walks where ghostly white crabs can be seen hurriedly scuttling by!
