First of all the staff was very friendly, accommodating, and always had a kind greeting. One lady working the front desk (with blond and dark hair drooping over her eyes) was the exception. She was stern and unapproachable. Given this is a beachfront hotel and appears to be a bit on the older side, it was an excellent place for the price involved. Very affordable and great beach access. Although they state they aren't handicap accessible, I probably didn't read the details appropriately. The beach access room I booked was actually two floors down from the parking lot, and no elevator. There was also no indoor latch or chain on the door. I would have felt a bit safer had one been present. Not that I felt unsafe, one just never can be too careful. I would stay here again, despite those things mentioned above. For the price, there are trade-offs. And the friendliness of the staff was superb.

I had some items missing from my room when I asked for the security cameras. I was told the facility did not have any. I checked out a day early, I don't want this bad experience killed my trip, but it did.

Room was very clean but it did have a clogged, slow draining sink. Not a problem though because the gulf view and sunset show from the balcony chairs was the reason I was there. Front desk guy was very friendly too.

The whole place is just magical. Its like a place we stayed as kids in the 1980’s. No muss no fuss. Its clean enough, big enough and has a great heated pool

Absolutely fantastic! Mere steps from the beach. It has a funky retro vibe, yes its old, yeah its not 5 star, yeah there are small issues… but the location cannot be beat.

6 nights no cleaning no changing of sheets we had to ask them to do the trash they told us to put it outside of our room . Nights got chilly heater did not work right . If this place was newly renovated I would have hated to see it before ,
