We were so exited for our four night beach getaway. From the moment we arrived, it was one disappointment after another. The check in took forever. Long line and the clerk made me fill out multiple forms to “collect for the resort fees on my credit card because their system was down”. That’s after I provided all the same information online and a six hour drive. The parking was tight and busy. The room - dated, scuffed baseboards, peeling paint. The floors in our room were ridiculously dirty. My husband's feet were black right after he took a shower and walked to the couch. The housekeeper "cleaned" our room one time the entire stay, basically took out the trash, removed the shower mat and towels, left one hand towel (we had three when we arrived) and two bath towels, no shower mat. Remade the bed, but didn't change the sheets. First night we were here, we spent half the night chasing a giant palmetto bug around the room. Of course we reported everything to the management through their text message system, which kept sending us messages and encouraging the response, but no action was taken upon our communication. I also spoke to the front desk at the checkout and voiced my concerns, was assured that they would talk to the manager about the refund of the resort fee and call us back. The call never came. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
