The cabin is located on 4 acres about a mile from town. The views are stunning from this small working farm. The property is a venue with deluxe apartments, glamping tents and cabins, 7 units in all. Bathroom service is provided in an old, repurposed grain bin that is less than 100ft away. It contains 2 full bathrooms, including showers. This cabin has a mini fridge, microwave oven, coffee maker, and ceiling fan. WIFI is available, some devices can access the signal from the cabin which is a few hundred feet from the main house. But cabin guests are welcome to hang out on the porch at the main house to access WIFI if desired. Other guests may be encountered on the porch but it is huge, and deck furniture is clustered with plenty of distance to maintain personal space if desired.
The cabin has a gravel parking space within a few feet. Wineries are close enough to walk for guests wanting exercise. Some guests bring bicycles for local transportation.
Tim enjoys interacting with guests but respects their space if privacy, peace and quiet are what they are looking for. Guests are invited to hang out on the huge log porch at the main lodge. Tim often enjoys coffee in the morning or a cold beer in the evening out on the porch where the stunning mountain views are addicting. Bring cigars, cognac, or beer and sit a spell. Great conversation, fun stories, respect, peace, kindness, acceptance and laughs are but a few things you will find interacting with Tim.

Nice glamping experience. Bed was comfortable, coffee good, good location. Separate bathroom was clean and serves 4 cabins. We were there during the week into the weekend. We had the bathrooms to ourselves during the week. All four cabins were filled for the weekend, but no long waits for bathroom access! I am an early riser though. I liked it. Paonia is pretty slow, I would not go back to spend time there. We were OHV riding.
We had the most charming cabin ⊠it was very sparse (no kitchen, no bathroom, no TV or radio) but it was so comfortable and peaceful ⊠community bathrooms were just across the path and we were able to use the kitchen to make a terrific breakfast ⊠the hosts were very friendly as they met us when we arrived and answered all our questions about the area and places to eat and see ⊠we will definitely be going back again!
I loved this space. But, from my experience, you got to find it first. I believe Tim has made people aware now, but Paonia is a Verizon dead spot. If you have Verizon, prepare for your phone not working at all. Beyond that, this place is great, I would have given five stars if I had been better prepared to find it. Beautiful spot, an oasis in a desert. Cabin very comfortable in evenings, swamp cooler worked very well. Everything clean and comfortable.
Five-Star Stay in a Perfect Mountain RetreatOur stay at this charming cabin in Paonia was nothing short of magical. Nestled in a quiet and rustic setting, the property offers breathtaking, soaring views of the surrounding mountain peaksâa view youâll never tire of. A beautiful river runs just steps away, providing the perfect soundtrack to mornings on the porch and evenings by the fire. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and full of character, blending comfort with an authentic rustic feel. We were amazed by how conveniently located it wasâjust a five-minute drive to local wineries, farm-to-table restaurants, and quaint farm stands. It truly offers the best of both worlds: peaceful seclusion and easy access to everything Paonia has to offer. This place was everything we hoped for and more. A perfect mountain escape that we will never forget. Thank you for sharing such a special property with us
