Protaras also offers a plethora of good local and International restaurants and a thriving night-life in the summer months.There is also a water park and aquarium that are worth a visit. The biggest water park in Europe can be found just outside of Ayia Napa which is only 10km away. Closer to the apartment, and more local is the smaller town of Ayia Triada/Pernera, with its own 'strip of restaurants (some good local ones as well) that are less than three minutes’ drive away. Within 15 minutes’ walk you can get to Golden Coast Fishing Harbour the romantic Sirina Bay or the child friendly Kalamies Beach.There is a new coastal walkway that has been built linking Protaras with Pernera. The walk is beautiful and flat making it very accessible with pram or wheelchair. Along the walkway can be found some stunning little 'secret' restaurants/cafes where you can stop for breakfast/coffee on one’s morning walk, or for sundowners/dinner in the evening.
