Had a corner room on the 5th floor with an amazing view down Rue des Abbesses. Great amenities; friendly receptionist gave me little French lessons and they have cutlery and plates upon request that you can bring up to your room. Two slight warnings; the elevator is extremely tight and only a bit more than the width of one person, and the rooms are not very well soundproofed. However, a perfect base for exploring Paris from the heart of Montmartre; great for a dream Parisian getaway at a very reasonable price.

The hotel staff were consistently wonderful. They handled English speakers with ease. Had a great stay here, gave my partner and I a little romantic time to ourselves amidst a larger family trip. >As I expected for any hotel in this area, spaces are small and streets are noisy. Social establishments are open till 2 or 3am. That's part of the Parisian experience. If you don't want that, don't stay in this area. >I thought the little shelves in the room were very handy for keeping a smaller space tidy, and we had plenty of room for our 3 suitcases and 2 backpacks. >Internet worked, a little spotty for streaming. >The bathroom has been recently updated and was in great condition. >There was a modern thermostat in the room, the weather didn't really require using it though so I can't report on that. >Loved the beautiful old windows. >The amount of amazing food and shopping right out the door is fantastic, highly recommend the Basilica and bookstore and the fabric district! >Noticed the double bed was 2 twin mattresses under 1 sheet. There was no gapping and we were perfectly comfortable, but I guess that's worth noting for some people. >Shuttle to airport cost about 40 euro, about half the cost of a cab.

The Expedia listing says that there is an elevator. When we arrived, we were told the elevator was broken, and given a room on the 5th floor, up a narrow spiral staircase. My partner is unable to do this many stairs, especially with the weight of suitcases, due to a hip/leg injury. We had to leave for a different hotel at the last minute and they are refusing to rufund our money. I will write a new review if this gets resolved. The room was tiny, no outlets near the beds, no full length warddrobe space. Great location, but there are other options for the same price, or less that are much nicer!

A clean hotel in a lovely are surrounded by cafes and eateries. Walking distance from Abesses, Blanche and Pigalle metro / bus stations. I was in a single room that was in the attic 6th floor; more like a studio room. The room size was just enough. Lift is available till the 5th floor and you will have to carry the luggage up one flight of stairs to the attic to reach the 6th floor. During my three night stay, lift was working only one the first night. Rest of the time I had to walk up and dow six floors, multiple times a day!! The staff offered to help me with the luggage when I was checking out. Breakfast is just breads, cereals and coffee / juice. Definitely will recommend this hotel for th locality and cleanliness.

The area was fabulous. You’re right in the middle of everything. There was a metro a few blocks away and I traveled all over Paris from my location. The area was buzzing but quiet at night. I enjoyed the staff and the room was very clean and comfortable. I’ll most likely stay there on my next visit. ❤️

Good simple hotel in the heart of Montmartre

A good, simple hotel perfect for a few days in Paris. Not particularly romantic or luxurious, but clean and practical, with friendly and helpful staff.

Perfect Location

The location was perfect for a couple’s weekend break. A 5 minute walk to the beautiful Montmartre square. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was basic and could do with updating. Shower was very good. Everything seemed clean. The main benefit was the location with everything at the doorstep including a 3 min walk to the Abbesses Metro.
