Conveniently located one stop from the main Montmartre area. Host is quick to communicate and respond to questions. Quirky old world flat with elevator big enough to ferry your luggage or two people up the five flights.

Loved the location

We have experience with rentals in the US but this was the first time we had rented one in Paris. The last time we were in Paris we had stayed in a hotel. This time, being there for Christmas we wanted a larger place to stay with our son. The owner was extremely nice but there were a few things that was different: There was no mattress cover on the mattress and the fitted sheet kept coming off during the night. Just didn't feel hygienic. We are use to both pillows and mattresses being in protective encasements. The owner lives at the location part time, so his food was in the refrigerator and freezer and his toiletries and medicines in the bathroom which is something we aren't accustom to. Again, he was extremely nice and he even offered the unopened orange juice to us during our stay. During our stay. he even reached out to us with some recommendations of places to go. The apartment is on the 5th floor and there is no elevator, so the treck up with luggage will be a chore but we expected that- you're in Paris after all. The view of the Eiffel Tower is WONDERFUL to see at night from the living room window. The apartment was warm so the heat was efficient. The bathroom is split into two separate rooms. There is a toilet and a sink in a small room on the left and then across the hall is the tub, another sink and a small washing machine. The shower head is not hung on the wall and you'll have to hold it while showering. Overall- very nice owner but just OK apartment.

Ein tolles Apartment mit einer überragenden Aussicht über Paris. Sehr hell und sauber, mit einem kleinen Balkon, hervoragend für zwei Personen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, es gibt in der nahen Umgebung mehrere Einkaufmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Die 100 Stufen in den 5ten Stock sind manchmal qualvoll, aber der Blick auf die Stadt entschädigt für die Mühe. Angenehm fanden wir auch, dass es sowohl ein Bad mit Badewanne und Waschbecken sowie eine separate Toilette (beides zwar klein aber getrennt voneinander) gibt. Die Lage der Wohnung ist ruhig, man ist aber innerhalb weniger Minuten im pulsierenden Leben des Montmartre. Zur Metro sind es knapp 5 Minuten, es hält aber auch ein Bus (fast) vor der Haustür.Unseren Gastgeber Aziz haben wir leider nicht persönlich kennengelernt, er hat aber alles super vorbereitet und kommuniziert. Bei Fragen mussten wir nie lange auf eine Antwort warten.Für die besondere Stimmung am Abend ist das Apartment liebevoll mit mehreren „ambient Lights“ ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, Danke Aziz!
