It was a very okay hotel. Good price for the location. I loved the neighborhood. Room was small, bathroom was small but I slept like a baby and had a good breakfast. Front desk lady was very nice.

I didnt like the elevator, it’s so small!!!! Not even 2 bags, one not so big and that’s it! There’s no space for put your bags inside the room and the bathroom it was really small! You can’t take a good shower there! I don’t like it at all! I hoped something different.

Very helpful staff for us Americans!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
Cons: Noisy
Like most hotels in Europe, the room was small and the bathroom was so small I had to sit sideways on the commode, but the staff were very helpful, breakfast (for 10 euros) was good. The hotel was undergoing some remodeling so things were dusty, but that happens. The subway was located at the end of the block, so that was convenient. Do not get off at St Lazare station, use the Lieges station. Much closer!

Fine for the money

Pros: Free Internet
When traveling, we look for something in a good location for a good price and this worked. There is plastic lining on the mattress which made sleeping uncomfortable. We were also right next to a metal staircase so it get a bit loud at night when trying to sleep. The location is good - right next to a metro stop and in walking distance to some different sights.

I hated the time I spent at this hotel.

The staff was very rude and unhelpful. The room we were assigned to was so small that our luggage did not fit without us having to jump over it in order to get to the other side of the room. It was a terrible visit.

Good Location Clean Excellent Value Nov 2010

Friendly staff clean rooms excellent location for the price. Older hotel which kinda smelled like lavender was very clean. Tiny bathroom as is to be expected also very clean. Carpet is the only thing I can say looked worn but who cares? Half block to metro and just a few blocks to great shopping. Several small grocery stores and bistros within 2 blocks. Mattresses looked brand new as well as linens and the bed was comfortable. I have travelled in Paris before and I was very pleased with this hotel for the value. We preferred to stay closer to city and attractions rather than have a little bigger/newer hotel. We were only there to sleep!

Never Again

This hotel was the worst one we stayed at during our entire vacation. We only spent one night (thank god). The room we had was a double that really should have been a single since it was so small. Our luggage didn't even fit anywhere on the floor where it wouldn't be in the way and we had carry-on luggage. We literally had to hop over it in order to get to the other side. The staff was very unwelcoming and seemed bothered whenever we would ask for anything. We only had experiences with the night staff so don't know how friendly the day staff is. The molding in the room was cracked and the rug has stains in it. I was expecting to see a cockroach crawl out of something the entire time we were there. And the bathroom we had was so small that two people couldn't fit inside it. My knees would touch the wall in front of me whenever I sat on the toilet. It was awful.

Though the hotel was reasonably priced, comfortable and clean, and quite accessible to the Metro. There are a couple things that would keep me from selecting this hotel again. I was not told that breakfast was not complimentary, and did not discover this until at the time of check out, when I was asked how many times I had eaten breakfast and then was presented with a bill. Also Internet access is only available through swisscom.com, the plans this company offers are much too expensive and limited for what you get; ~* euros for 60 minutes of non-continuous access in 24 hours, ~* euros for 24 hours of continuous access, or ~* euros for 7 days of continuous access, with limits to the amount of data that can be transferred for each plan. I think most people would need some kind of internet access in their hotel, but the plans offered were not a worth the expense for the limited time allowed.
