while the room was clean, the old laundry from the previous days was left in the hallway. This was unpleasant and did not show a professional lodging establishment.

This was the first time my wife and I stayed here and we will be back for sure. We were greeted by Soroya at the front desk and she set the tone for the whole stay. Fabulous! She was very friendly and took genuine interest in what brought us to the area, which was the NY Ren Faire in Tuxedo Park NY. She even checked in with us when we came back the next night after the faire to see how we liked it. The room was wonderful. Spacious, comfortable, well lit, clean... you name it! Sunday night when we came back after the faire we decided to order some hamburgers to go from the in house bistro in lieu of going to a restaurant off site. Well, we just found the best way to travel. Being able to eat a delicious meal in private after a hectic day was wonderful.

Exceeded expectations! Front desk was lovely!

I was a little worried about booking here because the reviews were all hit or miss but I went ahead because it was just a one night stay. The customer service was outstanding. The women at check in were so kind and enthusiastic. The lobby and room were very clean. A lot of reviews mentioned it being outdated but I disagree. The bathroom seemed a little older but it was clean, the water pressure and temperature were good.

Understaffed Hotel

I would have rated this hotel higher but for 2 things: 1) I found the bed too hard (although my husband was fine with it) and mostly 2) the young man in charge of the breakfast room was shamefully overworked. He had to take orders, run the register, make the coffee, and cook the breakfasts ALL BY HIMSELF. He was VERY good at making breakfast, but he should not have had to do everything without any help. I felt bad for him--he was clearly doing the best he could, and the food was very good, but watching him do everything without any assistance took the pleasure out of an otherwise very nice breakfast.

A/C unit is so lound.. no water pressure from shower, i can't even wash my hair, full body mirror is so narrow on closet door doesn't even stay open...... overall place need a update, there is no customer service!!!! inquire a charge and manager can''t even tell me why that he has to look in to it, never got a respond!!!! front desk lady has ababsolutely no professionalism.........
