The staff was very welcoming and made our stay and visit to Manhattan so easy. I highly recommend this hotel for any family looking to visit NY with great transportation options and amenities at the hotel. Thanks so much! The only downside was the temp of the pool. It was way too cold to swim in on our second night.

The welcome consists of telling you of a 50$ damage deposit and that breakfast is at 6, but not free. Be careful not to drink the water bottles in the room, that is not free either- Hilton should be made of better stuff. Otherwise, room and conditions are fine.

We were placed on the 5th floor and it took approximately 20 to 30 minutes for the shower water to get hot. Took approximately 5 to 7 minutes for the water at the sink to get hot. The refrigerator stopped working the first night of our stay. Called guests services and the engineer came to the room quickly and fixed the refrigerator. The wood on the desk furniture was chipped. My friend was extremely upset that the hotel did not have a safe to put valuables in when you left the room. He said he has stayed in many hotels and they all have safes in the room. Disappointed that no stores or restaurants are in walking distance. Next time I book a room I will make sure I book a hotel that addressed all of those needs listed above.

Everything was fine except for the unfortunate comments of the lady at the front desk. I asked her a room at the first floor due to an injury on mi wife's ankle, then asked about the fitness room and her answer was "why would you ask for that is you have a broken ankle"? Absolutely out of order the comment.

I made a reservation for two days. On Friday we go into the room we noticed the carpet was dirty. We noticed but it was nothing to make a stink about. We went out for the envening when we got back Friday into Saturday morning there was no hot water. We went to bed around 7:30 am we tried to shower again and there was no hot water. We called and complained. We were told they were working on it. It was around 11:00 am when we left the room and they were still working on it. When I got back for the day it was working however there was now a noise problem. A large group of children were running the hallway yelling/laughing and knocking on doors. It was not a great stay at all
