My husband and I were looking for a getaway from the city and some rest from our familyâs busy schedule. This house, while small on the inside, provided abundant outdoor seating and spaces to enjoy - sunny when the cool morning called for it and shady when the afternoon sun rolled in. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening after enjoying dinner at one of the local eateries. We will be booking here again!
Cute little spot to get away from life in the middle of the week. Enjoyed it very much to relax. The neighbors to the east were awesome. Had some car troubles and they helped.
We had everything we needed and stayed 4 nights to celebrate our 30th anniversary. This cute little cabin was cozy and clean. We really appreciated the owner's response time and help when we had a small issue. The hot tub was amazing. Thank you.
We have no complaints about the property itself. Also there were no problems with neighbors.
However the property next door to the east is very poorly maintained. There were several cars and car parts strewn all over the front yard and the property itself looks run down. Also the police showed up to the property one evening during our stay. That does not make one feel very safe. But again we had no interaction with those neighbors.

One thing since dog are allowed it would have been help full if it was gated at least in the back yard. This is also safty concern for kids since they like to roam and there were tools and unsafe items they could get into or run on to the road.
Owners did a great job with the remodeling. Back yard is really cool. Amenities are well provided. Plenty of eateries near as is a nice park for walking the dogs. All you need to bring is your toothbrush.
The home was clean and well stocked with appliances, outdoor seating, and even some cooking spices which was wonderful to have. We were very comfortable here. There was firewood but no axe to make kindling or fire starting supplies to start a fire. Otherwise everything was great. We would book this place again.
Really enjoyed our stay the house was cozy and clean! The hot tub was fantastic really makes you want one! If we come up to payson again we definitely will book this place again.
Charming home in a great location, loaded with amenities!
Super charming home with lots to offer. Awesome, outside spaces. Front porch, side yard, backyard, every space is enjoyable. Evening soaking in the jacuzzi was the perfect end to a day. Great location, walking distance to several great restaurants. Perfect place to come back to after a day hiking, fishing, exploring, or just hanging out in the wilderness.
Cute, clean and comfortable. Lot of extra towels was a huge plus. Backyard area had lot of seating and a hot tub which was really nice. Overall it was a great place to stay in Payson.
We had a very enjoyable stay. The cottage was easy to find and as soon as we dropped our bags we gathered on the front porch. That evening a male elk appeared in the grass and pines across the street! The next day another male elk and two females were sighted. We walked to Green Valley park each morning. And hiked around âwater wheelâ and the East Verde River where we found tons of black berries to eat. So peaceful and relaxing. The cottage had everything that we needed and beds were comfortable. We will return again! Thank you!
Cute decor, fun little place, we enjoyed. the hammock, the jacuzzi amd corn hole (even with one broken leg) :) The ceilings are low, so my 6 ft 4 husband did some ducking in doorways. It had everything we needed. Would have liked to have had some info on things to do in the area , we had no idea how close we were to a lot of fun places to go. Right on main there is a beautiful park and Zane Gray Museum as well as cute antique shops. A copy of Rim Country Visitors Guide in the house would be ideal. Summer 2023. Thanks again.
