The space
Why stay in a basement when you can stretch out and relax in a 1300 square foot chalet with 2 floors/loft, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and a 17' vaulted ceiling.
Multiple outdoor spaces with 500 square feet of deck on two levels (loft bedroom has its own deck) so you can always find just the right amount of sun or shade. Two outdoor dining areas — one is covered and privacy-screened in case you have had enough sun (or it rains!) and the front deck dining table offers a truly incredible 180-degree view of the lake. The modern kitchen with island is fully equipped and conveniently connects to the outdoor BBQ area. Super easy to create your own amazing lakeview dining experience.
A spectacular home-away-from-home that gets you out of the traffic and crowds in Kelowna, and puts you right in the middle of everything the Okanagan has to offer. The perfect choice for two couples or a family looking for a peaceful, convenient vacation getaway. Peachland's location at the terminus of the Coquihalla Connector is ultra-convenient for anyone coming from Vancouver.
Located on a quiet, dead-end street — take a short walk to the end of the road and enjoy an incredible view of Hardy Falls.
Guest access
Guests have exclusive and private use of 2 floors and all the deck areas (approximately 1300 square feet). There are two parking spots available for guests. There is a self-contained basement suite with separate entrance and I usually stay there. I do not rent the basement suite to guests. As people have noted in their reviews, I stay out of sight and you are not likely to even notice I am there. On the other hand, I am readily available if you have questions, issues, or need some advice on what to see and do while you are here!
Other things to note
The driveway/parking is at the top of the property and access to the house is via a number of stairs so it would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The property is located in a residential area and your respect for everyone that lives in the surrounding neighborhood is expected.
