WOW, does not even come CLOSE!!!!!!! EXCEPTIONAL STAFF, cleanest room EVER, and QUIET QUIET QUIET!!!!!!! This place is off the beaten path, and hands down, a hidden gem!!! We travel through Oskaloosa often, and appreciate the community there. However, we will be staying here from now on!!! We visit Tassel Ridge Winery every chance we get, and enjoy a GREAT, local breakfast in Oskaloosa at Julies Cafe.

At this price point I expect a clean room. The bathroom was dirty. The toilet was not clean and had urine stains around the seat. The floor in the main living space had so much dirt and dust, I'm certain it was not swept before my stay. I used baby wipes to clean before I would walk barefoot. The shower curtains were so stained and the shower had left over soap and containers from the previous occupant, I really did not want to shower in the shower.

Definitely enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean and modern, and the hotel itself was very quiet! I love that they offer continental breakfast, however their juice machine was down and that was kinda a bummer for me because there weren’t any other options besides coffee. The staff were super nice and accommodating and they were willing to share some local places to go while in town. I really wish I would’ve had time to swim because I’d definitely would’ve been in the pool. I would totally stay here again if I’m ever in Oskaloosa. I also loved that it was secluded in a very nice neighborhood. 9.5/10

Arrived at hotel to checkin at 3pm and room wasnt ready. Went back at 5pm and was given room keys to a room that hadnt been cleaned. After much discussion someone agreed to come in an clean it while we went to our evening activity (which we changed for at the event). Arrived back at 8pm room was cleaned and all was well until we discovered the jetted tub didnt work. The following morning i asked if we could extend our stay through the Iowa game and was told since I booked through a 3rd party that wasn't possible. We have stayed here many times in the same type of room with none of these issues but not sure we will be back after this weekend.

First thing we noticed was the room had a smell, looked around the room. bathroom was terrible, used bar of soap left from previous guest, someone hair left in tub. the floor underneath the sink was filthy. Looked in the dish washer, the dish washer was full of dishes. Couldn't trust that they were clean. Opened the cupboard and found bags of chips left by previous guest, opened the door below the sink to find a mess and liquid from dish washing pods not cleaned up. found several ants around the room on the kitchen counter and on the floor. the jetted tube was a pain to use, when you could get started and would shut off and on during use. Paid over $360 for the 2 nights, should have stayed at a motel 6 or super 8 would have felt that the room was clean.
