Room was not clean enough in parts, only enough towels for 1 person and should have been 2, also bath mat missing, mold in corner of shower tray, around extractor fan was dirty also. The beds were comfortable and clean. During our sleep we were constantly being awakened by a external fan relatively close to our bedroom widow and due to the extraordinary hot weather we had to keep our window open but the noise was too much to sleep continously sound, after chatting with the owners in the morning to move us to another bedroom we were refused any offer of locating us to a bedroom further away, hence another bad evening of sleep? Breakfast was not cooked properly, sausage, bacon, tomato and mushrooms very undercooked and was only luke warm. Overall we were very dissapointed and had no comparison to when we stayed previously 2yrs ago. Having said that, new owners have taken over appox one month earlier and perhaps its a cultural difference with this family being of Indian decent, hopefully time and experience will rectify.

Was allocated room 19 which was very clean but quite small. The worst part was it was directly above the extractor fan for the kitchen which started up at 6.30 a.m! Would try to avoid that side of the building if staying again.

Scruffy / tired hotel. Metal covering for my door fell off when I put my key in the door. Minimal breakfast choice - wouldn’t let me order an omelette so I ended up with one slice of toast and a croissant because I didn’t want a full English or Kippers.

Very pretty looking coach house placed in the centre of town with its own parking.Extremely clean rooms. Good cooked breakfast to start day. Prefect place to stay while visiting the area.
