When we arrived on Saturday the beach was closed!! We were shocked. They were doing the beach restoration and they were laying large pipes across the beach for miles. They did eventually open the beach, with walkways over the pipes in places. The condo was mostly cleaned. We did have to wipe down counters, end tables, and dining room table prior to use. There were coffee rings on the nightstands and tables. We did wash clothes while we were there. The lint trap was full. It had to be emptied prior to using the dryer. I did call the office and they brought us a sponge for washing dishes and also brought us pot holders. I did find the potholders later. They had been pushed so far back in the drawer, they were wedged behind the back of the drawer almost falling into the cabin below.Each bathroom only had 3 bath towels. A total of 3 for the week for the master bath. 2 washcloths, for the week, and 2 hand towels in the master bath. We did enjoy the layout of the condo. We do a lot of cooking and the kitchen could use more utensils and some glass plates would be a huge improvement. We loved the extra blankets. The proximity to town and the buildings well kept up. We have been visiting every year for 13 years. The Local, across the road is amazing and how nice to have this right there!! The check out process was super simple. All and all it was a great vacation.
