Set right in the heart of the Clare Valley Wine Region, the Merry Moose Retreat is surrounded by vineyards and stunning scenery .

Minutes to all the major attractions including 100 metres from historic Horrocks Cottage, picturesque Riesling Trail, and close to numerous wineries.
Set in a spacious open planned architecturally designed retreat, with all the modern creature comforts.

Each bedroom offers a king size bed, ensuite, walk in robes, tv, and air conditioning.

Priced at $280 per night for 2 guests
Additional adults - $ 70 per night per person

Minimum stay of 2 nights
Minimum stay 3 nights if long weekend.
Some provisions for breakfast included.

Base rate is use of house with 1 bedroom and en-suite only.

If different sleeping arrangements are required please message me prior to booking. Additional cost for opening second bedroom required. If Merry Moose unavailable for your required dates we also have a stone cottage Willow & Vines in Sevenhill.

We love staying at merry moose so central for all our walks and wineries plus great restaurant UPPside just 500meters south with great food and they do takeaway but merry moose has great provisions so fantastic and the wood fire is great when it’s cold but there is aircon too it’s a relaxing house lots of games too

Merry Moose in winter

Merry Moose is a great place to stay for a few days in the Clare Valley. Modern amenities, wood fire and all the provisions you could want, and really well located between the local settlements and wineries.Traffic noise from the adjacent main road was the only downside which might affect some, but otherwise highly recommended.

We stayed for a weekend get away and on arrival we were greeted with the most amazing property with chilled vibes and relaxing atmosphere.We were pleasantly surprised with the breakfast items supplied and how well the shelves were stocked. One of the best places we have stayed at in a while.We all agreed it's worth another visit!!!

Location location location

The B&B was amazing so clean huge 2 double bedrooms with enormous ensuites the living kitchen areas are amazing and the stocked pantry and breakfast supplies blue us away. A 5 minute walk to Uppside Restaurant was excellent especially the Tapas on Sunday afternoon. Also Sevenhill Hotel you can eat in the cellar and they have a shuttle bus food was excellent as well.

Excellent property with lots of space

Great property, everything literally brand new, well appointed with generous provisions and top of the range appliances. Loads of room and privacy for two couples. Only slight downside is proximity to Main North Road, which maybe an issue for light sleepers. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to book again

Comfortable stay at the Merry Moose . Tastefully decorated, conveniently located. Spent a very happy three days there. The host even added breakfast provisions. Thankyou for the Clare Valley hospitality , very impressed.

Brilliant House!

This is an exceptional property located in the middle of the Clare Valley. The property is so well equipped with beautiful furnishings, huge bedroom & dreamy bed, kitchen with everything you could need to cook up a gourmet meal! Bacon & eggs in the fridge, looking out to the vines for wine o’clock!! We loved it!!!
